My group of 5 arrived around 8:50, with hopes to sit down for a quick pizza. We were greeted promptly and served quickly. The pizza was delicious and the staff were pleasant. We never felt rushed as they closed at 10 pm. Thank you for the delicious late night snack!

NEVER get a calzone. Pasta and pizza are good.
We’ve had problems three times now, all with the same male kitchen/oven staff members. First time we ordered a large ham/pepperoni/mozzarella/broccoli. Instead of the broccoli it came with peppers and onions. An argument was had about getting what we actually ordered. Turns out we received another mans order of calzone. Second time a staff member told my father they were not made to order, we got pasta instead(was very good). Third time we ordered a large ham/pepperoni/mozzarella calzone. There was barely any ham or pepperoni and a TON of ricotta cheese. I asked the female staff who took the order if I was able to choose what I wanted in the calzone. She said “yes”, “ok, could I get pepperoni, ham, and mozzarella cheese, that’s it”.
Also, because of that argument (where they wanted him to pay for it to be remade and he was having none of that nonsense) the staff now give him smaller portions whenever he calls in an order.
Called to ask if we received the wrong order female staff put male kitchen staff (same one from prior argument who was reprimanded) on phone told us that all calzones come with ricotta cheese. This is not on their menu. It gives size, and a list of ingredients to choose from, ricotta being one of them. It was also not automatically put on ANY of the other previous CALZONES, including the other customers. He lied to us saying that all calzones have ricotta included, and we should have ordered a strombolli.

Palermo Pizza and Restaurant truly exceeded my expectations! The food was outstanding, with a delightful variety of dishes that were bursting with flavor. The pizza, in particular, was perfectly cooked with a crispy crust and fresh toppings that made every bite a pleasure.
What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to ensure that we had a great dining experience. They were quick to recommend their favorites and made us feel right at home.
Overall, Palermo Pizza and Restaurant is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service. I can’t wait to go back!

Guy literally remembered who ordered my pizza and I didn’t even put a name in. Pizza was the hottest and was handed to me immediately out of the oven. Best customer service I think I’ve ever received, period. Atmosphere was beautiful. 10/10 I live an hour away and I’ll definitely come back. Of course the pizza was delicious too.❤️

The attitude of the hostess last Friday evening on splitting a bill between my table of 3 is the reason I’ll never come back here or suggest it to my friends. Honestly it shocked me someone would act that way. We had no one behind us and the front wasn’t too busy. This was my first time coming here. It was a good experience otherwise. Food was amazing and our waitress was kind. Then the end just put a negative blanket over the entire experience. If you’re having a bad day just stay home and recoup. No need to bring that energy to work and take it out on customers. Absolutely unnecessary.

First time at Palermo Pizza and Restaurant, Pottsville, PA; compliments of my fellow foodie, and great friend, Bill C.! Bill, you introduced me to another winner! I can always trust his recommendation of great Italian Fare.
The Main attraction was the Pizza selection with so many great looking possibilities that I had to go over it three times before making my choice (Cheesesteak pizza); each selection was beautiful to see and totally tantalizing. It lived up to my expectation based on sight and bouquet.
Bill had a slice of Bacon Ranch as well as one of the best looking Buffalo Chicken slices I have ever seen. I will definitely be trying that one when I return, and I definitely will be returning!
Now let’s talk staff. Margi (Hostess) and Amanda (Server) were awesome, super helpful and friendly. Ladies, thank you for convincing me to try the best Garlic Knots in the world (they were incredibly delicious) which they were!!

Great place! Friendly service. The wait staff was great! It was our first time coming here but, definitely not the last. It was very busy but, we did not wait long for our food. The Mediterranean pizza is amazing and so are the garlic knots and eggplant fries! If you don’t find something you like on the menu you are not human!

First off! The food is wonderful. The decor leaves much to be desired, but I’m sure it appeals to some. This review is more about customer service. Which is severely lacking!!! Especially from the younger women. They are very nasty!!! My husband ordered chicken fingers with fries, a calzone with ham, and ONE ORDER OF CHICKEN WINGS! The young woman couldn’t or didn’t know how to add but said he’d be given the total in store (there’s no price on the menu online ). When he reached there, he was quoted $65!!!! After asking why it was so expensive, he was told that he ordered 3 SETS OF WINGS!!! Are you serious, we’re 2 older adults and a 3 y/o grandchild!!! He said, “All I wanted was 1 order of wings,” she yelled back, in front of customers, no, “You ordered 3!” She refused!!! To take the other 2 off, and he paid and left! Now, come on, not every customer is right, but come on!!! Are u serious. The order would’ve been approximately $42 without the extra unnecessary wings. Your customer service is disgusting. It’s not the first time we’ve seen this here, but tonight was bad. You need to address your workers’ behavior towards the customer. Without them, you have no business.

Our server was awesome (Ava)! We got a few slices, my wife got a salad, my daghter got the fettuccine and we all had a garlic knot. Everything was excellent and I wish we had a great place like this in Michigan.
