Let me say, I’ve loved this pizza since it first opened on 2012. A small hole in the wall between mid and downtown Ventura. Small places like this need local support. I came about once a month. I have probably bought over 100 pizzas from Palermo and can count the times I’ve been disappointed on one hand. Pretty good record in my book.
I’ve been going to Palermo since they opened after Cooke’s bbq closed several years ago. Not only am I a regular, but I’ve recommended Palermo countless times due to my positive experiences.
The owner Yoshi is a great guy who definitely takes pride in his business by being a part of it on a daily basis.
They frequently add creative items to the menu to keep things unique and the pizza is consistently one of our favorites around.
*Secret advice* the small is often as big as a medium. Shhhhh. Sorry Yoshi. Hah!

Neighborhood Italian restaurant. Food was good! Service was fast and friendly. Prices were reasonable. The calzone was huge and tasty. Easily a meal for two. What more could you ask for.
