Authentic Mexican food, it serves homemade and hearty plates in a style that isn’t widely known. New favorite Mexican restaurant. I highly recommend their Sinaloense breakfast, it’s a hidden gem.

Got $2 tacos since they have a deal on Tuesdays. 2 al pastor and one asada, they were amazing with the in house salsa. Abigail my server was super friendly and helpful, she made me feel super welcome, I don’t usually care about service but she had a super positive attitude that I had to shout out.
10/10 would go again.

Another gem in Downtown Fullerton. Great food. Great Service. The optional outdoor seating really gives it that outdoor vibe. Their breakfast is amazing and you’ve got to try their Birria Burrito for lunch. Don’t forget the creamy jalapeno salsa. You won’t be disappointed!

The food here was above and beyond our expectations… Absolutely delicious! We had a party of 9 on a Friday for brunch. We were promptly seated, and our drink order was taken right away. Our service was wonderful, the drinks were well made, and the food was great. A definite must try when in Fullerton!

We’ve been coming here on Sundays for a while now, and the pozole and menudo are always fresh and delicious. The Sunday servers we’ve had in the past have consistently been attentive and pleasant. Today, the food was just as good as always—absolutely delicious—but the service was not quite up to the usual standard. We had to ask for several items more than once, and we also noticed the server (not the attendant at the brunch station) handling tortillas and tostadas with her bare hands right after cleaning a dirty table.
Cleanliness and proper food handling are very important to us when dining anywhere, and we hope this was just an isolated incident. We’d love to continue enjoying your great food with the same care and attention we’ve come to appreciate

Bathrooms in a restaurant says a LOT about how the business is operated! This one WAS clean, love the colors. What does graffiti say about an establishment? If people tag the building, do the owners ignore it or try n clean it up? The bathroom in Palapas Tacos is an embarrassment! Its not artistic or pretty, Its shameful! There was no toilet paper even at the beginning of the day. The food was ok and over priced, $10 for a Cafe Olla? Oh and don’t ask them to Not put berries/sauce on your waffles cuz you will get completely IGNORED! My husband hates them and they Still put them on and then charged ME extra for my berries on my Breakfast Slam! They need more staff on the weekends. People standing in line, 2 servers and plenty of tables avail. Need new managers! First time last time.

I love me some tacos!!!
Palapas tacos definitely delivered on selection and taste! I’ve been eyeing this place for a bit after coming down from the Fullerton loop and I’m glad I finally did so! Our order consisted of a chorizo mulita, carne asada taco, al pastor sope. The mulita way personal favorite with the grease and cheese along with the salsa. Sent my taste buds to outer space! I’ll be back to chow down on their Monday special.

As a regular of the original palapas for several years, even going to multiple different locations. It makes me sad they sold the buisness and name to a different entity. They used to be a gem great prices and great one of a kind food. Now it’s overly expensive and the food taste ain’t there anymore. Lots of people don’t know it’s a different owner and everything changed.
