Came here for some drinks with a girlfriend and we had a great time! Service is good and the environment is unparalleled. Great views and lots of seating. The menu is limited but is great for drinks while you’re waiting for Ola or just hanging out with a friend.

What a great location to enjoy our sunny Long Beach days! Palapa is located on the upper level of 2nd & PCH right next to Ola Mexican Restaurant. It is open, bright & airy. You can choose to sit inside or out. Either way you will have a great time there. They serve a variety of delicious tapas & cocktails. We like the mezcal cocktail. Bring your friends, sit by the fire pit, enjoy the exquisite views. The staff is friendly & helpful. You can thank me later for letting you in on a Long Beach secret. Such a great vibe!

Absolutely amazing experience at Palapa!
I hosted a celebration get together for my husband’s military promotion here and it was everything we could have hoped for. I had emailed a few weeks before and the events manager informed me I couldn’t reserve this area on weekends but I could come the day of and separate some tables for our party.
My husband and I got there at 1115am and it was almost empty (perfect!) the lovely waitress and angel Arlene greeted us and helped us reserve 3 tables / lounge area for our party of 25. She went above and beyond from putting away the cake in fridge until we were ready to eat, to helping us with drink tickets for our friends since we wanted to treat them all to a few drinks and appetizers. The whole experience was seamless and she was professional and so so so lovely.
We loved the drinks- Paloma, margaritas,’ micheladas and the food was amazing! Carne asada nachos , ceviche, burritos, flautas, everything!
I am sooooo grateful for Arlene’s amazing service and will continue hosting more of our get togethers. Thank you for everything!
