Delectable dinner!
We dined at this Mexican restaurant while visiting Santa Fe with our friends. With its vibrant decor, the place has a great ambiance. The staffs are very polite, attentive and helpful in selecting food. Every food we tasted had distinct flavor with a well-balanced blend of spices and made with fresh ingredients. Although we’ve tried Mexican food in various parts of the USA, the flavor here was distinct and truly unique. Both vegetarians and non-vegetarians will find plenty to choose from here. The Tres Leches was so good that we ordered it twice.
Our orders were:
Beverage-Bloody Maria, Jalapeno Margarita
Appetizer-Chips with Salsa
Main Course-Pollo Adobo, Tamale Plate and Veggie Enchilada Plate
Dessert-Tres Leches and Flan
I would suggest going here.

This place is seriously the best. The head chef Damien is incredible and our server Emilio was equally incredible. The food was absolutely to die for. I had a veggie omelette, my daughter had a pancake, and my husband had the breakfast burrito with Christmas. We loved it so much that we decided to go back every day during our vacation. Please do not miss this place. It is an absolute diamond in the rough. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Thank you so much to everyone at Palacio for treating us like family members and welcoming a Santa Fe native (me) back home.

The food was great. As in, I don’t think that I’ve ever had better Mexican food. The owner and staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was very chill with great guitar music playing (not live).
We plan on going back again before we leave Santa Fe.

We came in at 3 pm. It’s slow, not much costumers, however it took quite a while to get ordered, served, and asked for the check. The service is slow however warm and friendly.

The food is excellent. We had Cuban Rueben and Enchilada Plate. Both tasted amazing. The price is very reasonable as well.

Always good food and service.
We had the green chile burger, pear salad, chips and salsa, and of course the flan.

Had breakfast this morning 11/15/25, Very good Huevos Rancheos and Smothered Breakfast Burrito. Check out their Dark Mocha, delicious..

This is a cute little restaurant in downtown Santa Fe that’s super convenient and delicious. We had a simple meal of enchiladas that was very flavorful. If we had stayed in the area longer, we would have returned to try some other dishes. The rice was a little crunchy for my liking, but overall, it was good.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and the friendly service. I think staying with New Mexican options is the best idea, as the steak tacos were delicious but the pesto mozzarella panini was disappointing, swimming in mayo and not actually a panini, more like a sandwich on ciabatta. I will definitely go back for the service and to try more of the menu.

The tamales showed up hot and unapologetically comforting, the chicken adobo had that slow-cooked, “someone’s grandma would approve” depth, and neither lasted long on the table.

It’s the kind of place where you stop talking halfway through the first bite both out of reverence and because your mouth is busy.

The food was delicious and service was outstanding. We were that guy and came with a group of 9 at 30 minutes to close. I asked if they were ok accommodating us, we were on the road all day. They happily took us in. The hostess was very nice and the server was great. The food hit the spot and we were on our way. Thanks Palácio for making our trip just a bit better.
