My new favorite store in Springfield. I have gone back 3 times for gifts and deli take-out since these pictures were taken. The deli food is Amazing! Wonderful customer service.
SO many fabulous choices of unique items. The liquor selection is hands down the Best around.

Chandler has helped me find so many great wines! He’s especially helpful at food pairings. He even takes the time to read through a recipe with me, ask about my price range, and makes a couple recommendations. Today he let me sample a few different wines. Between the samples, his recommendations, and the spring wine sale, we came home with 16 bottles! Only two of the wines had we had before, the remaining 14 are all new, exciting adventures for us!
He is knowledgeable about grape varieties, methodologies, growing regions… the education is amazing, and he’s a great conversationalist. More impressive, we haven’t been into the store for a very long time yet when my fiance and I walked in, he remembered us! The most amazing customer service experience I’ve ever had in Springfield.
I absolutely love this store. I’ve never met someone who wasn’t friendly or willing to help. I love it here so much.
And try the deli! You won’t regret lunch here.

Found this super market style, wine with snacks place this year in Springfield. A great experience, with still a small fill for personal service. Many choices of cheeses and condiments. Cakes and Danish moist and delicious. Had the banana cake with cream frosting. Wine gift baskets.

Sandwiches are great! Salads okay. Awesome liquor and beer selection, have some good craft beers to choose from. Their wine by the glass is very smart along with the large food menu. Lots of yummy sides to add on your charcuterie board.

We had heard such awesome things about DD but we were unimpressed. Six of us went for lunch today. The French onion soup was delicious but the rest was lacking. The Cobb salad lettuce seemed to be old and most of it was left on the plate. The Panini pressed sandwiches were all cold. The chicken on the salads was very bland with no flavor at all. Maybe it was an off day but we left disappointed.

After having our keg fall through at the last minute at another store in the area — and not finding out until we went to pick it up — we called Brown Derby hoping they might have something available. Not only did they have a couple kegs on hand that were exactly what we were looking for, but David and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They truly turned our day around! We’ll 100% be coming back to Brown Derby for all of our future keg needs.

As I was dressed-down, so to speak, every employee in the building spoke to me twice. That’s to say, I was dressed very casually, and comfortably. The staff treated me as a loss prevention risk.
I’ve worked retail most of my life, executive management and corporate. The way the staff treats you here is awful. If you aren’t dressed well, you won’t get help and you will be spoken to poorly, as has been my experience so far. I’ve been to this location 4 times: 3 times I dressed down and was simultaneously contacted by every employee and treated poorly. The one time I dressed business casual, I was completely ignored when I did need help.
Go elsewhere.
