For context, we made our reservation three days in advance and placed our full order over the phone ahead of time. When we arrived on time for our reservation, we were told to wait outside. After being seated and confirming our order, I saw on the printed order list that one of the dishes I had already ordered over the phone was completely missed. While we were able to add it at the table, this would not have been possible if it had been an item that needed to be prepared or purchased in advance.
After sitting for 50 minutes with no food, a waitress brought complimentary drinks and an appetizer as an apology, which I appreciated and found proactive. However, after more than an hour, only three dishes arrived, and they came very slowly. Even after an hour and a half, the remaining two dishes still hadn’t arrived, despite us politely reminding the waitress multiple times.
Nearly two hours after being seated, we finally received the last dishes—only to find that the fermented fish eggplant dish was missing the fish entirely. We left almost immediately after the final dish arrived and didn’t even finish everything due to other scheduled commitments.
I never expected pre-ordered dishes to take this long. We could have bought groceries and cooked a full meal at home in less time.
0/10 — would not recommend!!
– Buddha over the wall: fresh, high quality, the sauce is delicate for you to tatste the quality of all the ingredients.
– Fried swab: rich flavor, the skin is super crunchy outside, flavorful and juicy inside.
– Cuttlefish pot: cuttlefish is crunchy, sweet, full flavor, not too much oil, very fresh.
– Fried eggplants with fermented fish: this is a very authentic dish, and not for everyone. If you can appreciate the unique taste and smell of fermented fish, you should try this. This is full flavor, goes well with rice, very creative.
– Tomato beef soup: clean broth, delicate, very healthy, high quality, very well balance with my other dishes.
Overall, this is such a unique dining experience. The service is great, the food come out in a well time manner. I would definitely come back to check out other dishes.
), and braised beef daikon. The 椰子鸡锅 dish was interesting as it had coconut water, coconut meat strips, jujubes, and chicken on the bone we had to cook. They also were very particular where they told us to eat the chicken and broth first, then add the lettuce and cabbage.
The braised beef daikon dish was also quite delicious. Looking at the clientele around, it seems like the go to Cantonese style food in the area.
