What a fabulous find! Serious craft cocktails made with locally-made artisanal shrubs, syrups and bitters. Enjoyed cocktails, regional beer and fabulous pizzas from the attached RPK. Especially delicious vegetarian options — hope to be back soon to enjoy those tasty forest mushrooms! We loved the cocktail mixers in our drinks so much, we visited Wild Roots Apothecary across town to pick some up — the Elderberry Lavender makes for an amazing gin & tonic!

What a fantastic little spot! We were exhausted after tackling White Oak Canyon and stopped in for a cocktail – and wow. The bartender was friendly and extremely skilled. We all ordered different drinks; the Frosé, the Bramble & Smash, the Quantum Riff… but for the second round we all ordered the standout Fresh Zen Daiquiri. Such an incredible blend of flavors in each cocktail, and unmatched vibes. I’d come back to Sperryville just for this bar, luckily for me there’s a lot of other stuff to do around here as well!

Bar Francis is our go-to when we want to get out of the house, have a drink, and mellow out for an hour or so. It has a cozy and pleasant atmosphere, and there is good food, too. You can’t beat it when you need a change of atmosphere in the countryside.

Great little space serving fantastic custom cocktails and good food in a cozy environment. It’s a tight space — 4 2-tops and a small bar, but it delivers in a big way! Bartender was fabulous, drinks great — got a mojito and one of the better ones I’ve had. Definitely recommend stopping in!

Great place to bring a group of friends. Lots of open minded locals were sitting at the bar. I had the Herb Pizza. It was amazing. Bartender Mia or Maya was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Francis is attached to a country store, a restaurant, and a pizzeria. All top notch.
