Friendly family vibes, food was good. Buffet was a bit cold and the sushi was okay too. Not the best experience for an all you can eat but decent. Maybe because it was a week night? The waiter ended up brining a birthday dessert in the middle of dinner…weird. Ken was amazing! Asked for the boat since we had a ton of sushi rolls, good stuff!
The Salmon Carpaccio was delish!!

My friend craved AYCE sushi and we both tried the $30 sushi lover option. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sushi. The fish was fresh and had no fishy taste. We loved nearly all of the nigiris especially the eel nigiri, tofu skin nigiri, and all the carpaccios. The caterpillar roll was another favorite.
They also have a small Buffet along with dessert options included with the AYCE sushi. These are not mentioned in the menu. The service was swift and pleasant. There was no wait time. The decor of Fujisan on the back wall was quite beautiful.
Would highly recommend! This might be our new favorite sushi spot in town.

JUST WOW!!! I enjoyed everything, especially the Atlantic clam and eel sashimi, the fried fish, and the salmon carpaccio!! The rare steak was cooked perfectly. I ordered so much sashimi! The ocean lovers option is really worth it . Only thing was I was not informed that hot tea would be an additional charge of 4.99, and was served to me in a plastic cup which tasted so plasticky that I opted for a tiny hot sake cup. Regardless, it was great experience with a wonderful ambiance and I can’t wait to bring my family! P.s. the sauce for grill items was used a little too generously, Maybe serve it on the side.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The staff was fantastic and very helpful. Price is great for unlimited ordering for 2 hours. The warm buffet area has some basic some and nothing to write home about. The items you order on the iPad though were all great. I waited a few days to write this review just to make sure we didn’t get sick from sushi buffet . Sushi and other items aren’t kept on a traditional buffet line so that is why it probably tastes fresh. You order on an iPad and servers bring you the dishes when they are ready. I would definitely recommend!

On a date with my daughter Coco at Fujisan sushi and Grill (previously Oasis Bay Buffet) and usually i hate buffets. They are usually trash. But I been craving sushi, and I live an hour away from 99% of them. (Florence, AZ)
But the sushi surprisingly good for a buffet. And the staff are great! Not the fake kindness to get a tip. But casual and caring. They didn’t talk to my daughter like a burden since shes a kid. They treated like a guest.
They arent uptight, but arent trashy. This is the first japanese restaurant in Arizona, (along with the one in glendale and JK Sushi that shut down before covid) that id actually return to AND bring others.

What an amazing renovation. Walking into this establishment brings you to Japan, with backlit silk screens, ceiling dragons, all the while sitting at a table and looking out a window at Mount Fuji. The ambiance had a feeling of an upscale restaurant. The employees were very helpful and courteous. Our waitress Kathy was very gracious, helpful and pleasant. With a tablet, you can view the menu, see the delicious dishes available, and place your order for an in-person delivery. At lunch, there were no wait times, and plenty of seating in this hidden gem. We tried several of the dishes, sushi, and the food bar. The beef and salmon teriyaki were cooked perfectly, had amazing flavor, and urged us for second helpings. The spicy California and tuna rolls were very fresh and tasty as well. This fine establishment is an all-you-can eat, and believe me when I say, you will go home sated and pleased with the visit. Overall, the cost was well worth the meals, priced at just under $20 per person. I think I found a new hangout! Additionally, they do have their liquor license so beer, wine, and sake is available for those that want a drink with lunch or dinner.

Been here 5 times. Overall good sushi place. Friendly staff. Good vibe, modern renovation, clean. Food overall is good but could be a hit or miss on hand rolls and sashimi. Sashimi most of the time is fresh and in good coloration except one time – addressed and improved. Observed seaweed in hand rolls is crunchy when order one at a time or when restaurant is not busy. Eel hand rolls specifically if eel is still hot could also be a factor of soggy seaweed. Tiny piece of plastic 1/2” length from food package was found in a salmon salad. Follow up and apologies were lacking and was only asked which dish was it found and if I can pick it up and hand it to the waitress. Was asked how’s everything going multiple times throughout the meal however the service reveals and felt not taken care of when situations happen.

This place truly is fantastic. All-you-can-eat sushi combined with a buffet line. This place is massive Oh my gosh, this place is absolutely incredible! Imagine sushi so good, you can eat all you want and still have room for dessert. And guess what? They have a buffet line too! The place is huge and super clean, and the servers were so friendly and helpful. They even knew exactly what they were doing. The sushi rolls were to die for – they were like little pieces of heaven! I think this place has officially become my new go-to sushi spot. and super clean. The servers were so attentive and knowledgeable. The rolls get a chef’s kiss. They were fantastic. I think this place has become my new sushi spot!

If you expect similar lunch menu as other AYCE sushi restaurants in lunch menu, don’t expect too much.
They don’t even have nigiri in $19.99 lunch menu.
The miso soup taste like very lightly salted water. Almost no miso taste at all. Chicken broth is even better than this miso soup.
The seaweed of hand roll is not crispy. It’s like after putting in refrigerator for sometime.
The dipping sauce for shrimp tempura is super watery. A hint of sweet taste.
In the 3 takoyaki, one of them doesn’t have octopus inside.
The ramen is the cheap white noodles. Not the traditional yellow Japanese ramen. Good thing is it comes with bamboo.
Edamame is barely salted. Almost no salt.
Chicken skewer is overcooked. All black both sides. Bonus of hair on chicken skewer. Disgusting!!!
Shrimp tempura barely has shrimp inside?! Only has the tempura.
The glass is water taste is tap water. Absolutely need lemon to make it taste drinkable.
The good thing about the restaurant is the upscale decorations and the upgraded utensils.

I’ve lived in Arizona for the past 8 years now, originally from California and an absolute sushi lover. Since ive been in Arizona ive been searching for a good sushi spot. Found a few and their consistency wasnt there. Saw a clip of this brand new place and gave it a shot and glad I did. Some of the best sushi and service ive had since being in Arizona. Will be my new spot for sushi
New Edit: been there multiple times after this review and I have no clue what is going on there but I am now currently looking for a new sushi spot. The quality has gone down. They are cutting their spicy tuna with some unknown substances I would not recommend. Unfortunately… also they have changed their all you can eat varieties it seems. Dont know why they would change something that was so fantastic.
