Great place for authentic Mexican food with gluten free options. Hand made tamales were excellent and the Al pastor tacos were delicious. Price was surprisingly reasonable for the quality of food served. A pleasant surprise.

In town for work and my crew and I have tried to go in there 4 different times during the last 3 weeks from and they’ve been closed when they said they were open. Went in there and told we couldn’t get service because there wasn’t enough workers. Asked when when they were open so we could come in and he says, “uh just sometimes” just open whenever he wants I guess, which seems about 4 hours a week. Doesn’t deserve any customers if that’s the best answer he can give.

Great food, great price, and good privacy. Three flavors of salsa served with the chips. Had the gorditas, which here are round stuffed mini tortillas. I’ve not seen them like that before. Menu in Spanish and English. We rang the bell when we came in because the owner was waiting tables as well as cooking. Food was fast after that.

Coming from California, we like to think that we know a thing or two about Mexican food. This place is absolutely hit the mark. Unbelievably great food, very affordable pricing, and the cutest little couple making everything happen. Couldn’t ask for anything more, and we will definitely be back. If you’re in the area, this is a must stop. If you’re not in the area oh, it’s worth making the drive.

The food was good. However the quest is just chezwhiz and they had no chips.
The service was not the best. They had 2 employees in the entire and one of them was a kiss about 10 years old. When the waiter came and took our order he didn’t ask what we wanted to drink and when he finally did, we didn’t get them until our food came.

Good food, mom and pop spot, if you ask for a plate not on the menu be specific they’ll do there best to give you what you want, I recommend chile rellenos or Caldo de rez.
If you’re in a hurry, call it in, and it gets busy in the summer.
