Great Italian restaurant in a strip mall. Send to be a local favorite with very good authentic food. The waitresses are phenomenal at what they do. Food comes out hot and quickly, we have been here a couple times trying different dishes and Paisano’s is consistently an A+, thanks!!

Whenever we drive down from NJ to NC, Woodstock is our midpoint lunch stop. After dining twice at the Cracker Barrel, we decided to give Paisano’s a try. Even tho they are an Italian restaurant, we came for the seafood and Paisano’s did not disappoint. Wonderful flavors in their crab cakes, the steamed mussels, and the seafood platter. The clam chowder is thick and hearty. The pizza is a traditional wood-fired oven pizza that was hot topped with gooey mozzarella. The wine was surprisingly delicious too. And the service? Nothing to complain about there. Our meals came timely even though only one server covered the entire restaurant during the lunch hour. Don’t let the humble location fool you into thinking it’s a run-of the-mill pizza joint in a strip mall with a so-so pit stop menu. Even the ambience inside will transport you to a small Italian town where you dine with Al Martini crooning O Sole Mio in the background. There’s a reason the place gets packed in the evenings.

After trying most of the menu, I can honestly say this is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to. High quality ingredients. Well prepared. Great presentation. Fast, friendly service. And the price is great too. Nothing bad to say. Keep up the great work guys!

Bland food and poor service. We went today for lunch. We waited while the boss chatted with the staff including our waitress. He walked into his dining room and we waved him over but he ignored us. My cheese steak sub was not seasoned at all. My wife’s spaghetti was cooked noodles, sauce on top and crumbled meat on top. Nothing was mixed together nor was any spices cooked into the sauce.
No garlic, oregano or any standard Italian.spices were added. Very poor. Place was almost empty over the lunch hour. No one asked “how is everything or how was your meal” upon checkout. Poor!

My wife and I were traveling on our way home to Georgia and found this restaurant. We had two lunch specials. Eggplant Parmesan and Manicotti. Both were excellent and very reasonable. They came with a nice sized salad and garlic bread. I highly recommend this restaurant for excellent Italian food.

The food quality and quantity was as expected. Service was friendly , very attentive prompt service. We did not have to wait long for our food. Decor was what you would expect for a non-chain Italian restaurant, clean , sharp, non distractive. It was a great place for us to meet that say with family.

We just eat here on Saturday! We got a steak and cheese sub and Taco pizza. It both was soo good! The sub was toasted just right and My husband loved the taco pizza crust . I think they may have a “different cook” but our food has never been disappointing .

I ordered a small pizza and coke with ranch and marinara as side sauce via the grubhub app. After about 40 minutes the app says my order was canceled so i called. They told me that they had a guy who ordered and paid in cash and he paid wrong and they thought it was me, so they just canceled it. After the phone call and another 40 minutes I got the pizza which had 2 huge circular imprints from the sauce they put in the box. One of the sauces was also blue cheese instead of the ranch i requested. The driver was nice and polite but that was about the only good thing about this experience.

Paisano’s has been my “go to” Italian restaurant in my 25 yrs living in Shenandoah County. Their meals are freshly prepared, pizza is excellent, prices very reasonable, wait staff well-groomed and courteous, and restaurant is owned by the same family since opening.
Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
