Place has gone severely downhill from when I was a kid. Can’t even pick up a slice and eat it like a slice because the dough is so floppy. I even ordered thin crust in hopes that would help. It did not. Most recent order wasn’t even remotely hot by the time we got it home and it was picked up earlier than the time they gave.

On June 2nd 2025 at 7 pm I called to place an order for myself and my son. My son wanted a ham and cheese sub with ranch dressing on it. The person on the phone told me they do not put ranch on their ham and cheese subs. I said ok, but I would like it on mine. He repeated, we don’t put ranch on our ham and cheese subs. I said I would pay extra for it, he refused. So I said I didn’t need a sub from them, hung up and went to the competitor in town. It’s ranch dressing! What happened to the customer is always right? I’ve been going to Main Street for 30 years, ordering what I want with the substitutions when wanted, but today, due to their poor customer service and attitude of not doing what the customer asked, I will not be going back.

I have never had any issues with main street in st.louis mi..I love the subs and pizza…but had surgery so I can’t drive so did door dash order but for some reason it goes through to Ithaca main street which is farther to Alma than St Louis main street..worse food ever…my ham sub was loaded with mustard which I requested no mustard..my bun was so hard and sub very cold..pizza was just as bad.. will not be ordering again until I can drive to st.louis again… terrible when you pay money just to throw out your food…I blame owner and management for this !!!

I always say good things about main Street but I assure you I bout 4 subs July 24 2025 I have never in my life had such awful subs the bread was soggy and gross to much mayo just already bad I never in my life seen bread this bad even the top was burnt but I didn’t mind that at all but on other side nasty wet and just bad all the way around it never expected that being the best place in town of Ithaca

I don’t know if I should leave a review because I didn’t end up getting the pizza. But as far as the service goes Main Street Pizza Ithaca is an entire mess. The pizza doesn’t look good either. Again if you want good pizza in Gratiot county you must go to Main Street Pizza in St Louis or Pizza Sa.s.

Crust/bread does not rise stays flat, shiny and doughy. Couldn’t eat the bread sticks because they we too undercooked/doughy. Toppings not so appetizing…
Person who answered the phone is rude.
Restaurant is dirty.
Not the same as the Saint Louis location at all. Make the 8 minute drive if you want to eat and enjoy your pizza.
