This bakery is my family’s favorite!! Every birthday cake is ordered from here. Chocolate layer with white icing. We love all their other sweet treats as well. Oh and they have savory items too. The homemade red sauce is AMAZING!!

I have been here only once. I will definitely visit again. The point of this post is for their carrot cake . I was buying cookies when I spied carrot cakes. As soon as I saw it (oh it looks sooooooo good) I told the lady that I’d take two. My wife and I love carrot cake, but this is not carrot cake at all. It is a very sweet dessert. No carrot, no cake. Just wanna warn others that love carrot cake.

Our favorite bakery in Sarasota, hands down, is Paisano’s. The staff is always so friendly, and the food? Absolutely incredible.
Coming from the Northeast, we’re used to having access to amazing bakeries, but Paisano’s actually outshines them all. This Thanksgiving, we picked up a cherry pie with crumb topping, a pecan pie, and the most amazing pumpkin roll we’ve ever tasted. Everything was perfection, from the flavors to the quality.
If you’re in Sarasota and haven’t stopped by Paisano’s yet, you’re missing out. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves great bakery treats!

This Italian bakery is the best in the state, maybe because it feels like a little piece of home. The red strips, spinach and mozzarella loaf and ricotta cookies, cannoli are some of my favorites and honestly worth the drive. There are so many options to choose from: sauces, breads, pizzas, cakes, cheeses, baked goods, etc. no matter what you order, you can’t go wrong and the prices are great. The staff are friendly and usually have patience so don’t forget to leave a little thank you tip when cashing out. They also have fresh baked dog treats, which my pup always appreciates when I get home. I highly recommend this local gem to make you feel like you’re in New England again.

This place is decadent. Every time we come to Sarasota we can’t help but come to Paisano’s a few times. The best cannolis and lobster tails south from Boston (Mike’s Pastry and Modern Pastry Shop are just incredible). It’s to die for. Be careful, however, some products fly away quickly so go early. If you like authentic Italian pastries you simply can’t go anywhere else on the West Florida coast.

Paisano’s is my favorite Bakery, for ALL THINGS sweet and baked! Their displays remind me of the movie “Pollyanna”, filled with cakes, cream puffs, cookies and pastries! When anyone comes into town to visit, Paisano’s is our first stop! My family loves their pre-homemade pasta’s, breads and meatballs too! I never leave the bakery without lot’s of pastries, Devil Dogs and Cream Horn’s & Napoleon’s, pizza & meatballs in my many boxes and pink bags! You have got to go and taste & see what I mean. You will leave much happier than when you came in!
