This place was pretty good as far as the Atmosphere and Staff goes. The food was good not great. The only real issue I had was the red marinara sauce, it tasted like it was straight out of a can. The he Stromboli was packed full of toppings and was excellent. This place has a lot of potential with a great location. I really hope they succeed and will be back here to support a local restaurant.

Food was fantastic! Unbelievable portions for a very fair price. My new favorite Italian joint.

Before you read this, I want to emphasize that my intention isn’t to simply complain but to offer constructive criticism. I’d love to see Paisanos succeed, especially since this location has seen restaurants come and go.

Yesterday, I ordered a small pepperoni pizza but received a plain cheese pizza instead. Fortunately, I enjoy cheese pizza, so it wasn’t a big issue. That said, I’ve had pizza from a wide range of places—both local restaurants and major chains—and as a lifelong pizza lover, I have a good sense of what makes a quality pie.

Let’s start with the positives: I love the oven you use. It gives the pizza a delicious, slightly charred flavor, which can be perfect—if the crust is cooked all the way through. However, the bottom of my pizza was mostly undercooked, doughy, and soaked in oil, except for the outer edges. On top of that, there was an excessive amount of oil pooling across the entire surface, which made the pizza heavy and greasy rather than enjoyable.

The biggest issue, though, was the structure. When I picked up my first slice, everything—cheese, sauce, toppings—slid right off. A pizza should be something you can pick up and eat, not something you have to reassemble with each bite.

As for the overall experience: The service was good—not great, but good. The atmosphere hasn’t changed much from the restaurants that were here before. But the biggest concern is the quality of the pizza, which, based on my experience, falls below average. If I had to rate it, I’d give it a 4/10.

I want this place to succeed. This town could really use a great local pizza spot. My advice? Do some research, experiment with your dough and cooking process, and refine your approach. A great place to study for inspiration is Grimaldi’s—their attention to detail in crust texture and balance of flavors sets a great example.

I hope this feedback helps, and I look forward to trying Paisanos again in the future.

We have been to the restaurant several times, and each time the food has been very good. The wood fire pizza is loaded with toppings. The chicken parm is delicious. The restaurant is very clean and great atmosphere.

This was the worst food I’ve ever eaten. How do you screw up salad and tea. Salad taste old n like they threw pizza topings on lettuce. Tea was gross tasted like it was made with salt water. Ask for lemons n told they were all out. When food came miraculously it had sliced lemon on plate. Rolls were stale. I literally can’t believe we had to pay for old food
Chicken breast was paper thin. It’s hot as hell in this building. I never complain but it was nasty food. Authentic Italian is sn insult to Italians

Owner was rude. The employees are not trained in customer service at all, and it shows. I went to pick up my order; the lady had me pay, and before even giving me my food, she got on the phone and took another order, and when she got on the phone, I could see my food with my name sticking out of the pizza box. After she got off the phone, she went to take another order. I then asked the other waitress about my food; she rudely said that the first girl would handle it and then walked off, and finally the man cooking the pizza walked up and asked if I’d been helped. I said no and that my food had sat for 15 mins. He then lied and said he had just pulled it out of the oven, which was shocking to me; that was the extent of their service. I got home and found out two food items were not in the sack. I called them for a refund and found out I had already talked to the owner, and they tried to refund the whole order, but I had to go back if I wanted the refund, which is ridiculous, and all I wanted was a refund on the food I didn’t get, horrible and unacceptable. Food was good, but I won’t be back.

We have gone here several times since moving to Boyd and have never had any complaints. Tonight I called in an order and when we got home we were a little taken back. The cheese burger had no fries with it and the burger looked like it had been just thrown in there with the toppings all over the place. My food was just as I expected and was very delicious but it’s a little upsetting about the burger.

This was our first time at Paisanos, and our reviews is going to be very Jekyll and Hyde. The Tortellini Michaelangelo is indeed a masterpiece, it’s delicious. However, the shrimp scampi was not….
I’m not sure what was up with that dish. Scampi is a delicious, buttery, garlicky, parmesan, baked, yumminess, that usually contains white whine. What was served here was more like pasts water with a few mushroom slices, tomatoes, and shrimp. The thin liquid was really flavorless, possible even slightly vinegary, and quite frankly, inedible. Something HAD to have happened, as that could not possible have been the intended dish…. That said, the restaurant was nearly full, and every portion we saw was absolutely huge. Everyone raved about every other dish. I’m sure the “scampi” was an error. We’ll definitely be back.
