Visiting from out of town and was looking for some gooooood soul food! This place was a hidden gem, and Ms. Cat herself was just as amazing. Not only was the food good, fish fried to order, Ms. Cat was so welcoming and kind, and has such a great sense of humor! I pray the community supports her more!

If you like home cooked hearty meals complete with a choice of vegetables, Catherine will treat you to just that and with a smile. Her pound cake is so delicious, we turned around and returned five minutes later for more to go. Down home good cooking beats fancy any day IMO. We’re from Georgia and that’s where Catherine’s Mama came from to Cincinnati. It truly shows! Thanks Catherine for a memorable meal and experience. We hope to visit again.

This Mom & Pop restaurant reminds me of good old southern cooking. Made with love and care. The meatloaf & greens were seasoned to perfection. Don’t sleep on this place. Good home cooking at its best. Located across the street from Lockland PD.

My 1st time here and I must say the customer service was amazing. It’s so hard to find good customer service these days but at Catherine’s customer service was top tier. So I ordered the turkey ribs, Mac&cheese, yams and a side of fried chicken. Now I’m not gone lie the ribs can use a little bit more seasoning but it was still good. Now everything else especially the yams was finger licking good. And she threw in some pond cake delicious. When I come back in town I will be looking forward to trying other dishes. Thank you ladies and may GOD continue to bless you guys abundantly.

I would give this place a 10 out of 10 if I could! I had their whiting fish dinner with Mac, collard greens, potato salad and corn muffin and it was chef’s kiss! I also had her pound cake and it tasted just like my grandma’s! The owner and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely pay the restaurant a visit again and very soon!
