The portion size is generous for the price, and the flavors are spot on. The black bean sauce is lighter than the traditional version, which I actually prefer—it feels less heavy but still very flavorful. The noodles have a great chewy texture, just the way they should be. Meat is tender and flavourful as well!
The sweet and sour pork was crispy and served in a very generous portion.
The stir-fried noodles are satisfying with lots of ingredients. Seasoning is light and spot on!
The jjamppong and Gunmandu (deep fried pork dumplings) were a hit and miss.
Original jajiangmyeon single serving is under 11usd
Comes with pickled daikon.
Noodles are chewy, serving sizes are generous. Minimal decoration, but homey.
Oh, get the free bib, sauce tends to fly everywhere when you slurp!
Otherwise, the jajangmyeon was savory and had lots of vegetables, the jjampong had plenty of tender seafood and the complimentary radish wasn’t too sweet like the kind you usually purchase at the store. I do wish there were the traditional cucumbers on top of the jajangmyeon though, as it was a little oily and heavy after a while.
Prices are great, portions are large, even for the regular size. However, the location isn’t the most ideal and the parking lot is small. They were also blaring music inside which was quite overstimulating during our meal.
The only downside is the parking situation. Half of the parking lot is shared with the laundry next door, which can make finding a spot tricky, especially during busy hours. It’s a minor inconvenience, but it can be a bit annoying.
Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone craving Korean noodles.
