Extremely ignorant staff, me and my young sibling were accosted by an angry grown man who started swearing at us because my sibling had facial piercings. He used very crude language and then tried to trip me as I walked out the restaurant. About 5 staff were at the front counter directly in front of us while this interaction occurred in line. Not a single one said anything, if anything they laughed about it as we left the restaurant. Insanity to let a grown man carry on in such a manner in a family restaurant, I’m still just baffled by the whole situation. Craziest thing to happen to me in a restaurant and even crazier for not a single staff to conjure up the single thought that maybe just maybe it’s bad business to let customers accost and harass each other.

I want to preface this by saying that I have been many times before with friends AND with my girlfriend and have pleasant experiences, however, this time was highly disappointing! I would also like to add my girlfriend is a black woman and I felt that the waitress perhaps may have been a little racist with how she handled things. Keep in mind, the night we went, it wasn’t busy. We were there, ordered our food, we were waiting for a good bit for food (which didn’t bother us, we both had a long day at work and were just talking.) Three different groups of people came in separately, ordered their food, got to get ice cream and pay all before we even got our food. It was a little long at that point, but I’m all for fresh food, so that’s not what we were upset about. Not once did the waitress stop over to ask us if we needed drink refills, tell us if our food was almost done, NOTHING. Keep in mind, we ordered an appetizer as well. Not a thing on a plate came out. The woman wouldn’t even look us in the eyes. Finally, we get our food. After we eat our pizza and stromboli, my girlfriend reminds me of the appetizer. The waitress passes by, addresses all of the other customers, visibly avoiding us, and I wave her over asking for the bill and she mentions the garlic bread appetizer… I said “it’s an appetizer, we’re done with our food now” and she says about putting it in a to-go container. I’m just thinking, what’s the point of bringing out an appetizer last minute like that, completely avoiding us the whole time, and not even bothering to ask us about the food being good/asking for drink refills? I’m all for people getting fair wages and everything and I’m a great tipper when the service goes above and beyond especially, but this woman didn’t get a cent of mine.

Don’t come here unless you have Cash!!! My son wanted something to eat as we were traveling home from a football game and they still had 30 minutes until they closed. The girl taking our order was very rude and acted like she didn’t even want to work. We then asked for some ice since my son got hurt from playing football and she gave us the rudest looks. I don’t think I’m going to eat here anymore.

Paesano’s has always been a great place to stop after visiting Raystown Lake. It is priced extremely well and has some great food and ice cream. Be prepared to sit down for a bit because they usually don’t have a lot of help. A little extended wait is well worth the quality though, and the staff is always friendly.

If you are looking for a family friendly restaurant and ice cream parlor that has a great bang for your buck, then this is a place worth stopping for.

Great pizza and home made bread dough. Service is..not the greatest. Ordered at 415 and by 6pm had part of our order and not thr pizza I hard ordered when I know for fact it was given to others in the restaurant who came in after us. Told the woman to cancel our pizza and after being told 5x it was coming right out, it finally came as we were leaving.

I have been going here for many years and I’m rarely disappointed. When that happens, I speak to the wait staff and they always rectify the situation. I absolutely love the food, the personnel and the prices! Have taken lots of ppl here for their ‘first time’ & they’ve loved it, too! ❤️
