We came in later evening on a Tuesday and were seated right away. The server was the only one, but it’s not a huge place and it wasn’t overly busy. Our order was taken quickly and the food came out quickly. We got the soup and potstickers first, both were really delicious. The soup was creamy. The potstickers were nice and crunchy. We both got pad Thai’s. They have a little bit different sauce than I’ve had around (homemade) but it was still familiar and really tasty. I got a 1 spice which was essentially nothing and my husband got a 3, which was very noticeable. He loved it. I think I would go for a 2 next time. Just a note that the menu is limited with the season, but there was still plenty of options. I would definitely go back and recommend it to others.

The best place for a chill lunch that you can imagine. I’ve been here a few times and it’s always been great, but drunken noodles this time were so good that it compelled me to write this review. Very friendly staff and quiet, serene atmosphere. Going to make this a habit to come back regularly.

Good, but not perfect. Jasmine tea was very nice and served attractively. Ordered “Amazing (Param)”. It was tasty, but not quite what I expected, my fault for not doing the research. Spinach was wilted in a couple places, probably better as a seasonal dish. Restaurant spanned the fanciness scale oddly, with nice serving ware, linen napkins, marble tables, good decor, but then a counter service point of sale system.

This place has exceptional Thai food I especially love the silver garden noodles! The spice levels are a little bit bolder than other traditional places I have tried. I typically get a 2 or 3 spice level but even the 2 is spicy for me here so beware. Super friendly staff and the inside is so cute, with a little fireplace and a couple cozy booths. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely delicious! Best Pad Thai in Des Moines. Try the pad see ew, it’s to die for. Service is friendly, fast, price is great and servings are huge, Tom Yum soup is great when you are feeling under the weather. A serious hidden gem! Image posted is of drunken noodles.

Perfect experience. The pictures posted by reviewers under-represent the quality, freshness and taste. The service by Dolly (sp?) was on point. I have quite a few allergies (gluten, dairy, ginger, MSG, celery) and she didn’t blink. She knew the menu well. The food was so delicious. We are Asian, and do look for authentic preparation. The flavor balances were well composed. I had a pot of Tom Kha, which was served hot in a special serving apparatus kept warm over fire. Nice touch. I also got chicken Larb. My sister got Tom Yum and Pad Se-ew. I chose spice level 2 and could have handled 3/5, and it was all delicious. Generous sized portions. Reasonable prices. We had lots of left overs. Tea was served in a charming elephant pot. Great stop on our road trip. Definitely recommend.

BEST THAI RESTAURANT IN AMERICA?
I think so.
We’ve never had Thai food like this except when in Thailand. The food is amazing. The environment and building are authentic and beautiful. This place BLEW us away!
We ordered Tom Yum soup (our favorite Thai dish) and Red Curry. We wanted to try the whole menu. After two days of 8 hours on the road and being used to quick meals, we weren’t expecting something so tasty and true to its culture (most “Asian” American food is frankly disgusting, aka fake and bastardized). We are already planning on stopping by on our road trip back through Des Moines.
The fact that only three tables were filled here and McDonald’s has a twenty minute wait for the drive through proves how absolutely stupid most Americans are about food. Please don’t be stupid. Come get real food.
Amazing food! Well done. Love the spice!

Our go to place for Thai food! We have loved giving them our business for take out, especially during quarantine, as it’s always consistent and one of our favorite restaurants! Super friendly staff and very generous portions, you won’t be disappointed! Chicken pad thai and pineapple shrimp fried rice, so good!

Very good Pho. Broth was exceptional. $11 for a large bowl. Great spot. Will be back.
I returned for the second time and I’m glad I did. I love the atmosphere of this place. Prices have gone up but for the right reason. This place is becoming my favorite pho spot.

We had the Red Curry and the Pad tai. It was delicious. The Red curry is spicy, we did not have them add any more spice and that was good. I had never had Tai food before and I will absolutely be back.
