Out quickly. I’m in love with the green beans. The service is good as well. The bathroom is well stocked. The food And drinks are reasonably priced. The bartender was able to make fancy drinks for us Jon drinkers. Which is a plus! The parking is off street so beware for those that may not like to parallel park. It o an always able to pull into a spot I would definitely come Back for girls night, date night and family night.
Oh and not to mention they added a delivery fee to my receipt… why is there a delivery fee if I sat down and ate ? Like I mentioned before .. NEVER AGAIN.
A special shoutout to Abigail, who provided amazing service. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the experience. Her energy and professionalism truly elevated our visit.
If you’re looking for a spot in Richmond with great food and standout hospitality, Pacqs Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. I’ll absolutely be back!
I came to Richmond to visit my daughter and was looking forward to enjoying a good meal. The hostess was polite and friendly and told us it would be a 30-minute wait for a table for four, or we could sit at the bar. The bar was full, so we waited. Unfortunately, that 30 minutes turned into 45 minutes, even though several tables appeared to be empty, which was confusing.
After finally being seated, it took about 15 minutes before our waitress came to the table. She brought water, and when we asked for lemons, we received two very thin slices. She then disappeared for another 15 minutes before returning to take our order.
When we tried to order, we were told they were out of multiple items — mac and cheese, rice, and even lavender for the lavender lemon drop. We asked again for more lemon, and it took another 10–15 minutes to receive four thin slices. At that point, it honestly felt like lemons were being rationed.
After waiting 45 minutes to an hour, only one plate came out — chicken (two tenders that tasted like they were fried in old grease) and a waffle that was thin as a crepe. The waitress placed it on the edge of the table, not even in front of anyone. Shortly after, a glass of pineapple juice with a couple of blueberries was delivered — with no alcohol in it at all.
We were repeatedly told that the rest of our food (penne pasta, Brussels sprouts, and another chicken tender plate) would be out “shortly.” Shortly turned into never.
I finally went to the front to ask about our order and was told it would be another 5–10 minutes. However, when the curtain to the kitchen opened, staff were standing around laughing and joking while customers continued to wait.
At that point, we decided to leave.
This establishment appears to be poorly operated and severely lacking in service and organization. I would not recommend dining here.
If I could give zero stars I would.
