$250 for four, two adults and two children. Left a hefty tip not for the food, for the clearly underpaid staff! $49 steak was VERY average. Smothered in some type of gravy and mushrooms i couldnt really identify. Fish and chips were good. Wagyu burger seriously tasted like they were hamburger patties from Costco AND tasteless.
Best things were the fries.
Nice view. Poor atmosphere. Not a smile to be found in the place. However service was relatively smooth. Sad really, as location and prices paid should generate positivity.
Based on what we spent on accommodation and combined meals you can do better than….
“Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with us… “
I suppose when they realize most visitors come once a year or once in their lifetime, management cant be too concerned about repeat business or opinions. Platitudes will suffice. Disappointing end to a nice stay. Third and last visit here.

First off, let me just say–wow! The views of Dayton Harbor and White Rock are absolutely stunning, especially on a sunny day. Honestly, I was a bit nervous about having breakfast here after reading some of the reviews, but we ended up having a pretty solid morning. We got there just before 10 am, which might have worked in our favor, though we still had a little wait for a table. I think they’re a bit short-staffed, but every person we interacted with was so friendly and genuinely seemed like they wanted to do their best.

Now, the only downside–no specialty coffee. That’s right, folks, no espresso, no lattes, just your basic drip coffee. But hey, caffeine is caffeine, right? As for the food, it was fantastic! I had one of the best avocado toasts of my life, with a beautifully semi-poached egg on top. My husband’s eggs Benedict? So good we almost had to battle it out for the last bite. I can see why people might complain about slow service, but we weren’t in a rush, so we just went with the flow. Overall, a great experience–just bring your own espresso from the lobby cafe if you’re picky about coffee!

The food was exceptional. Mike, one of the chefs, personally came out and talked with me about my allergies, this is a rare thing for me to experience. He even made a couple of modifications so I could enjoy the seafood platter. I also ordered the white clam and bacon pizza and I highly recommend it. The meal was well worth it’s weight in gold. The view was phenomenal. I appreciated that the restaurant was family friendly while having an aire of luxury to it. I only gave the service 3 stars as I felt slightly overlooked and had to wait a long time for the cheque, even after to go boxes were requested, though; it’s wasn’t too much inconvenience as my daughter played with the giant chess set and I enjoyed the view.

I want to amend my service review from 3 to 4 stars as the service I received for breakfast was superb. Krystine went above and beyond with her serving. She was more than happy to refill my cup with coffee and without being asked gave my daughter an extra serving of cherries. Kystine brought a smile to my kids face and mine as well. The PNW omelet (modified due to my allergies) was excellent and so was the cinnamon roll pancake.

It got busy and the staff had no problem keeping up, drinks were great, but my smoked salmon benedict with garlic truffle fries was amazing! Came back for dinner, the crab mac is amazing, must have at least 12oz of Dungeness crab!

After kayaking a few hours, we came to visit for lunch. It was low tide and the view from every table was perfect. You can see the border marker in the water and White Rock, BC is the most prominent scene.

At 1:30 pm on a weekday, I was surprised we were only offered brunch selections. No problem. It was a limited menu, but really good food. Hint: the burger with an egg is indulgent but done very well.

There are no beers on tap at this time, but that is no big deal. They have a couple of local specialties in can. All the dark beers were unavailable. I prefer water while my partner prefers a nice IPA. We both liked our options.

The flies buzzing the dining area are a bit disconcerting at first but we were never bothered by them while at our table.

Our server, food, and view were perfect.

Spontaneous trip to Semiahmoo. Loved it! Stopped by the Packers Kitchen + Bar, enjoyed it all !!! Service was spectacular-Thank you Mary! Best oysters on the half shell as well as their seafood chowder. The view was something else ; beautiful beach, Mt Baker and Twin Sisters, Salish Sea, while overlooking White Rock B.C. Staying longer next time. A+

We chose Packer’s for my husband’s 93 birthday. Our group of 10 was comfortably seated in a private room attached to the beautiful restaurant. I earlier arranged to have wine and appetizers on the table when our guests arrived. Our guests had selected their entrees ahead of time so there was no confusion or delay. As a result, our guests were immediately able to enjoy conversation, wine, and appetizers. The service was outstanding! Our server thoughtfully cut and served our birthday cake along with ice cream and coffee. The cooperation and planning from Packers enabled all our guests to enjoy a perfect evening.

Great views. Good service. Average food but Large portions. Expensive and usually a long wait.

One of the few restaurants open a little later in the area. You’re paying for the views and less for the food. Usually very busy so would recommend calling ahead or making a reservation.

Salmon – decent size salmon. Slightly over cooked but well seasoned. Broccoli was light and scalloped potatoes were good.

Chowder – creamy and very filling. Generous with their chunks of seafood. Not too overwhelming fishy

Garlic fries – huge portion. Very garlicky and flavorful but the sauce made a lot of the fries soggy. Still would recommend.
