Indulging in local Tongan cuisine is an experience like no other. The vibrant flavors and freshness of the ingredients transport you straight to the heart of the islands. Each dish is a celebration of authenticity that lingers long after the meal. Prepare for a delightful food coma afterward!
I savored the tender, succulent Sipi (lamb) that practically melts in your mouth, and the rich, savory turkey tail that had me craving more. The Ota, a refreshing raw fish dish, was bursting with zesty flavors, perfectly complemented by the sweet and refreshing otai drink. Every bite was a delicious adventure that left me thoroughly satisfied!

I stopped in to get some Samoan food! Although it was Tongan, its basically the same. The food was good. Just need to cut back on the salt! Overall, I would eat here again!

My brothers took us here while visiting from NC. This place was amazingly good! The food was cooked perfectly, it was hot and my favorite were the turkey tails. Turkey tail were so flavorful and moist. The staff were patient and friendly, which was a plus for me. Great atmosphere too. This will be my go to for my Polynesian food fix on my next future visits. Definitely recommend and will return.

The salted beef(povi masima) is so salty because they probably didn’t soak it in water first before cooking it. That was terrible, and I’ve had my fair share of povi. Come to our house and we’ll show you how to make it so good. The chopsuey is good though.

Stopped in for lunch. Polynesian daily or street food. Service was friendly and portions were large. I tried the Kale Moa, Saudi Moa, pork chop, and sweetened potatoes. Food was good but tithing really stood out to me.

I just ate there. I feel gross. Food was tasteless. No salt and seasoning. Mamoe was tough. Lu was itchy. Pricey, but the quality and taste were disappointing. Will not return. Try Simply Lava and other poly stores.

Wow! What an amazing discovery. I’ve been living in Salt Lake all my life on the west side and never came across this gem of a restaurant that’s been around for 30 years.
I tried the Lu, which is lamb wrapped in taro leaves, and the Kale Moa, which was a tender and delicious chicken curry, all served with root vegetables like sweet potato and taro.
Definitely get the ‘otai drink as well to wash it all down. I had mango.
The staff is incredibly friendly. And the food is outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!
