If you want to have the most delicious clam chowder you’ll ever eat, their Fish Shop chowder is what you’re looking for. The soup was thick and creamy, delightfully smoky from the andouille sausage, and had giant meaty clam pieces in it. If there’s one thing to order from here, it’s definitely the Fish Shop chowder.
We also ordered the fish shop shrimp which was delicious too. The marinade they use for the shrimp creates a spicy and zesty crust when seared, and the shrimp itself is incredibly juicy (not to mention huge!).
Staff was polite and helpful, and the food came out pretty quickly. Our family wanted a quick, casual lunch before we went to Mission Beach, and this place was the perfect choice. I would highly recommend coming here if you’re in the area and want quality seafood.

If you like great seafood or tacos this is your place. They consistently have great fish and service. I have had almost everything on the menu and you can’t go wrong. Solid patio and brews on tap as well.

They offer great deals on oyster days, and the oysters were really fresh and delicious. We also liked the clam chowder and ceviche. The fish taco, fish & chips, and ahi poke were not my favorites.
However, I didn’t like the ordering style. The staff felt cold, and they didn’t provide utensils unless you asked several times.

Came here specifically to have fresh oysters. 3 PM on a Monday afternoon and I’ve not had this fresh of oyster that I can remember. Order a half a dozen, and then followed that up again with another half a dozen. Highly highly recommend for their oysters. Amazing fresh cut, horseradish and not a bit of grit in any of the 12 oysters.

The food was delicious. We had fish, shrimp and chips. A bowl of clam chowder which was out of this world. People say the lines are long and it was. I think we got there right on time before the line got bigger but it went fairly fast. The food was served quickly and the atmosphere was great. Everyone was enjoying themselves. They have an outside bar and lots of places to sit. Lots of family and their friends enjoying all the different fish plates they serve. We loved it.

If you are looking for the local fish haul experience, it does not get any better than this. I’m from Minnesota and have never been on the coast. My BF and I both got fish plates. I got the swordfish to try for the first time and it was amazing! I highly recommend this place. (The seaweed salad is delicious too!)

Craving oysters? This place has you covered! Big and juicy oysters here that come with the standard fixings. Happy hour oysters on Thursday are a steal for $1.25 starting at 4 pm. They also do an Oyster Shooter too which comes with a small beer to chug. They also serve other seafood too so even if oysters aren’t it thing they they’ll have something else for it seafood cravings.

1st time here. I got the deep fried halibut fish taco because one of the staff recommended it, which is not on the menu BTW. $8.75.
It was fresh but the fish portion was kind of small.
It was super good but I’d like to have tasted more of the fish.
They have a cup you can buy for $10 and beer refills are only $6 so if you come back, it’s worth it.
I bought one because I’m coming back to try their other fish tacos. I really want to try their fish and chips and on Thursdays they have $1.25 oysters (super good deal).
They play great music and their outdoor seating is expansive for such a small place.
