Rhe potatoes were cooked too long and was watery and was like mashed potatoes instead of like a baked potatoes. They let them sit in water way too long. STILL GOOD THOUGH It used to be great.

Hadnt been in years, and went to grab supper without checking to see if they had changed hours the other afternoon and unknowingly got there right as they were closing for the evening as I pulled in and the lady was super nice, didn’t make rush me off or anything. Even recommended additions to my order. Great place, staff, and the food was good as always.

My food order was 2 pork bbq sandwiches and a sweet tea. All the local people I have talked to said this IS the place to go for good bbq, The first thing I noticed was when I pulled in I saw this huge smoker on the back of the shed and a stack of wood. There was NO smoke what so ever coming from that big smoker, and we are talking at 12:45 in the afternoon on a Friday. Anyways I received my order, and the bun was huge and I opened it to locate the pork, and it was a little portioned plop of meat, not even enough to cover the bun. Then I sunk my mouth into the dry bun and found the meat. The flavor of the pork had the strong taste of being heated up in a microwave. (If you have ever reheated a hamburger and over cooked it in the microwave, then you know what I tasted.) I tried to wash it down with the sweet tea and all I could taste was tap water with some sugar behind the tap water flavor.
I am all about supporting the mom and pop places when possible, but this place just isn’t cutting the mustard.

Was in Douglas the night of Hurricane Idalia, and only a handful of restaurants were open, all with huge lines. We got lucky and found PA-Bills, and we’re still thankful we did. It was so busy they ran out of almost everything but pulled pork and potato salad, but we were happy to have the sandwiches. They normally close at 8pm, but they were still serving people when we left at 9pm and the line still had 20+ people. I assume they stayed until the line ran out or they ran completely out of food.
What a great group of people they are, and everyone there seemed so appreciative of them for serving the community.
Oh the sandwiches were awesome and only $5.25.

Wow, should have thought a place out in the middle of nowhere would have food that good. I ordered a pulled pork platter with coleslaw and bbq beans. Tasted great!. Only draw back is there are only 2 tables, so if its busy expect to eat standing up, or in your car. Expect styrofoam containers, plastic sforks. But I’m glad we stopped. It was a nice change from the flying cowboy that is usually packed. You got it going on PA Bill! And tell him how good it is!

First time at this place. Had the bbq pork sandwich, chips and a drink. BBQ very average. Tasted like bbq you get off the shelf in Wal Mart in plastic tub. My Diet Coke was actually sweet tea. Chips bag can’t get much smaller. Overall very disappointing. I will go back to try the ribs and hope for a better experience.

Normally come here to eat their pulledpork stuffed potato, the last couple of times I’ve gone has been below average and don’t go off the prices online or at the establishment they end up charging you more! So be aware people, BBQ is also super greasy, the overcharging is what’s got me upset
