The complimentary anniversary cake and handwritten card were a thoughtful touch that made the night feel personal. We’ve celebrated almost five anniversaries and birthdays here, and every time the surprises and the people make our day memorable. Great service, great food, and a lovely place to celebrate.
One disappointing part was with our seating arrangement. We had booked a corner booth 1.5 hours in advance, and even though they agreed to it, we weren’t given the booth when we arrived with our two kids. All three booths were empty and no other customers were there, but we were told it was “first come, first serve,” which felt a bit unfair after the prior confirmation.
On the positive side, we truly appreciated that even though we stayed about 30 minutes past closing, the staff didn’t rush us or pressure us to finish quickly. That thoughtfulness made our evening more comfortable.
Excellent service can make a meal memorable, and Patrick absolutely delivered. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be asking for him again!
My family has been visiting P.F. Chang’s for nearly 19 years, dating back to when my children were still in strollers. Because of this long history, what happened during our recent visit was particularly shocking and upsetting.
On the evening of February 8, 2026, my two sons and I came for dinner at the P.F. Chang’s location in Hillsboro.
My younger son ordered a beverage from the Signature Refreshers (non-alcoholic) menu: Pomegranate, Peach Boba Breeze, and Strawberry Cucumber Lime. These drinks are advertised as refillable. During our many visits to other P.F. Chang’s locations, including Beaverton and Los Angeles, refills for these beverages have always allowed guests to choose any of the available flavors.
My son initially ordered a Peach Boba Breeze, and for the refill he requested a Strawberry Cucumber Lime. In addition to the drinks, we also ordered several food items.
However, when our bill arrived, we noticed that we had been charged for two separate beverages, rather than one beverage with a refill. When the manager came to the table, I calmly explained that at other P.F. Chang’s locations refills for these drinks have always been included in the original price and that guests were allowed to choose a different flavor.
I paid for all of our food and for the original beverage, but I declined to pay an additional $6.99 for what we understood to be a refill.
The manager stated that she had worked at this location for 13 years and was certain of the policy. She then called the police and issued us a trespass notice.
In all my years of dining out, I have never experienced such an unnecessary escalation of a minor billing dispute, nor such a level of rudeness and humiliation toward long-standing customers.
I have reported this incident to the Guest Relations department of P.F. Chang’s through their official contact page and am currently waiting for their response. I will share the outcome once the situation is reviewed.
This situation reflects a deeply concerning lack of professionalism and customer care.
Amber was busy but still took the time to make us feel welcome and comfortable, no matter how much I, the husband, annoyed her. Lol
Let me also say the other staff members were very kind, too, even the cook, who always gets a bad wrap. please put the scallops back on the menu.
Thank you
Roger & Kathi
The ambiance remains great, the service was really good, the food meh.
We had lettuce wraps. I remember them having better flavor. The filling was dry with a bit of sauce on the side.
We had our main entree’s family style. Amount of food was alright but smaller portioned for the cost. Food seemed greasy. We had Sweet and Sour, PF Chang’s chicken and the Beef as well as Pad Thai and a portion of Noodles, fried and white rice.
The Beef was the best. Chicken was alright, but not exceptional, the Pad Thai was really bad. No peanuts, was supposed to have chicken which was some shredded mess and then a lot of flavorless Tofu in batter deep fried, spongy and greasy.
I don’t think we will return, it’s sad to see the quality go down. I remember having Duck here in the past with Chinese dumplings and it was really good. It’s sad to see the quality get so poor from what it used to be.
