We traveled to Crystal River to hang with friends during my son’s spring break. Our group of 8 was hosted by our beloved locals, Oma (grandma) and Opa (grandpa). Our table ordered everything from clam chowder and jambalaya to a burger to seafood alfredo and then me ordering the pick four platter because I literally wanted a taste of all of the seafood.
Everything was fresh, piping hot and tasty. Crab cake, oysters, grouper and shrimp. Sooooo good!
To top off our visit, Mr. Bunch himself, came from the kitchen to greet all of his guests.
Whenever I return to the area, I will always check-in here. It feels like home. ❤️
Cheers!
Mr. William always comes out to see if everything is to your liking. Great family atmosphere! So if your wanting some down home cooking this is the place to go. Check them out!
They’ve been here many years, they serve breakfast lunch and dinner.

This wasn’t my ideal place to eat. My grandma and I were visiting from out of town, and she wanted to stop here because she used to live in Crystal River and wanted to reminisce about an old spot she used to visit. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great.
Our food took almost an hour to come out, and all we ordered was fried fish with sides. My grandma asked for a Bud Light, and the server brought it out in the bottle even though every other guest had theirs poured and served on draft. When our meals finally arrived, my salad was missing. We also asked for tartar sauce and were told they had run out and needed to make more.
What made it more frustrating was that the table seated directly behind us who seemed to be regulars or friends/family of the staff received their food almost immediately and were treated noticeably better. On top of that, people who didn’t even appear to work at the restaurant were walking into the back where the food is prepared.
