Amazing service! Inside is dated but cozy. Food is well prepared… not fancy but excellent quality (except for the mashed potatoes). Blackened grouper was soft, tender and well prepared. Coconut shrimp were fresh, snappy and full of crunchy coconut. Potatoes were instant but tasty anyway. Side salad was huge! Greens were soft and sweet

I LOVE this place. It is cozy and gives “down home” vibes. As soon as our group walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff.
We traveled to Crystal River to hang with friends during my son’s spring break. Our group of 8 was hosted by our beloved locals, Oma (grandma) and Opa (grandpa). Our table ordered everything from clam chowder and jambalaya to a burger to seafood alfredo and then me ordering the pick four platter because I literally wanted a taste of all of the seafood.
Everything was fresh, piping hot and tasty. Crab cake, oysters, grouper and shrimp. Sooooo good!
To top off our visit, Mr. Bunch himself, came from the kitchen to greet all of his guests.
Whenever I return to the area, I will always check-in here. It feels like home. ❤️
Cheers!

Yes. Just yes! I absolutely loved every minute of being here. It wasn’t just a restaurant; it felt like you were at home. They treat you like family. More than once, someone complimented my children’s good behavior. Our youngest 2 had burgers, and they said they were among the best they’d ever had. We also had chips and fish, fried shrimp, and crab cakes. Everyone loved their meals and the experience.

Older place, but very clean. Waitress was friendly. Had blackened grouper, wife had country fried steak. Both were excellent and hot. Going back to try fried chicken. Saw three different orders of chicken and did they look good.

Great little restaurant located right in the middle of everything. When I got there there were a few cars, when I left the whole place was filled up. The person who seated me was also my server. I ordered eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce and home fries. Everything was very good. My server was very nice and efficient. I was actually thinking of coming back sometime and trying to see if they served alligator. I believe I saw it on the menu. I will definitely give this restaurant another visit. I really enjoyed this one. Apparently the chef is very good with fried chicken also. Sounds very appealing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food was prepared fresh/made to order. The food was fantastic! I got the fried shrimp, cheesy grits, coleslaw and hushpuppies. My son got the gator tail, baked beans and coleslaw. The crew were the sweetest! I would eat here anytime I am traveling to or thru Crystal River. We had Banoffee pie for dessert that has won 2 blue ribbons

Food: 5/10

This wasn’t my ideal place to eat. My grandma and I were visiting from out of town, and she wanted to stop here because she used to live in Crystal River and wanted to reminisce about an old spot she used to visit. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great.

Our food took almost an hour to come out, and all we ordered was fried fish with sides. My grandma asked for a Bud Light, and the server brought it out in the bottle even though every other guest had theirs poured and served on draft. When our meals finally arrived, my salad was missing. We also asked for tartar sauce and were told they had run out and needed to make more.

What made it more frustrating was that the table seated directly behind us who seemed to be regulars or friends/family of the staff received their food almost immediately and were treated noticeably better. On top of that, people who didn’t even appear to work at the restaurant were walking into the back where the food is prepared.
