What is not to love???? This is a fantastic place, wonderful service and great atmosphere!!! Highly recommend! The crab cakes are a must. Soft shells are also delicious!!!

I’ve been following them on Instagram for a while and wanted to try them out. So I drove 137 miles from Palmdale to LA Mesa to eat 24 oysters and drink one beer, and it was totally worth it the oysters were perfect. Would definitely go back more if it was closer.

Definitely a gem! We wanted a nice quiet place where we could get seafood. Oysters were one of the best we ever had and the Cioppino I had and the whole Branzino Seabass my husband ordered were simply delicious…the best, really. To top it off…our waiter, Eddie, made our dining experience delightful. Worth every sip, bite and made our evening splendid!! The drinks were wonderful too!!

The mussels and cioppino tasted identical. The broth was yummy. Had to ask for more bread to soak it all up.
The braised beef rigatoni was the best but more on the salty side.
Parking in this lot is not a lot. I wouldn’t come back for dinner because of the high prices but maybe try happy hour for $2 oysters and the entree cost less.

I had a WONDERFUL experience. Had a cheese plate with a mango margarita. My son had the duck plate and New your steak, which was so delicious and buttery. The French fries were perfect. They have outdoor seating as well. Perfect place to come with friends and family or to have some alone time with yourself. I love this place. I highly recommend Oyster & pearl.

Went out to dinner with my family last night and we had such an incredible experience at Oyster and Pearl. Attentive and pleasant service. I ordered the Salmon dish with farro and I’ve got to say it was very flavorful and fresh. We also ordered the calamari and oysters as appetizers and we were delighted with both platters. Highly recommend this restaurant. Big thanks to the friendly staff and Chef for high class service and exquisite food.

So we drove out to La Mesa to a restaurant that was worth every minute of the drive. I was not expecting to get such fresh tasting seafood, innovative dishes and beautifully plated food. I would come back again in a heartbeat. The patio was just perfect for outdoor seating, but I look forward to returning one day when I can enjoy the very cozy indoor dining and bar area.

Absolutely best place for delicious food lovers. May not be best for location, not perfectly clean inside. But customer service and cuisine can beat those imperfections easily. We had outside table, had a really great time twice in that restaurant. Every single plate with food was master piece. Highly recommend this place.

We had a great experience here. The outdoor seating was perfect for the weather. For appetizers we had the oysters and charred octopus. Oysters were disappointing, seeming somewhat dry, but the octopus was really good. For entrees we tried the cowboy stew, cioppino, and roasted whole branzino. Each dish was excellent so it will be exciting to try more. I also had the nature’s remedy cocktail which was very refreshing. I will be back
