Friday night is prime rib night. The place was packed by 4 pm. There are so many tables in a very small place it is hard to move around. It is a tavern, serving prime rib. This must factor into your expectations. The vibe of the food is 1970s. If you go in with the right expectations you’ll have a good time. It is loud and they serve only beer, wine, and sodas. Nothing fancy. Our server was great and fun. I enjoyed the experience, however it was a one-and-done for me.

The prime rib was good and the servers were very friendly. Bruno was very friendly and jocular.
While it may not be a five-star dining experience, it is full of character. If you just stay awhile and absorb the atmosphere, it can be appreciated for what it is.

We just got back from our nieces wedding in Trout Creek Montana where Bruno and his crew catered the reception. When we pulled in and saw his rig, we knew we were going to be taken well care of. The Prime Rib was delicious, as usual, and so was the Salmon (and I’m not even a fish eating guy!). His crew was wonderful as well. We have attended many events that he has catered over the years and have never been disappointed. Go to the restaurant yourself, and you will see what I mean. Thank you, Bruno and all of your crew. Prime Rib Friday is a must. It is where the locals go, and for good reason. The decor is North Idaho bar/Cafe, meaning jacket and tie not required. Bruno, the owner, is beloved by several counties for his support of many non-profits, but he is worth loving just for his prime rib!
