Had a wonderful dinner at Oyster Loft. The seafood is definitely the star here. The crudo sampler was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the scallops were perfectly seared—easily my favorite part of the meal. We also tried the pork chop, which was juicy and well-prepared.
​We did try the risotto; while it wasn’t quite to my personal taste, it was still a solid dish. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere can’t be beat. Highly recommend for seafood lovers!

Visiting and staying in Pismo Beach with my GF for Valentines day a friend of my GF recommended the Oyster Loft as a dinning experience, we weren’t disappointed, the staff friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about each item on the menu, to begin I ordered a cocktail the Strawberry Samuri with Tuna Poppers, enjoyed both, for dinner my GF ordered the Pan Seared Scallops and I the Roasted Sea Bass & Mussels again great taste. Consider the Oyster Loft for a dinning experience.

We went there for the oysters (forgot to take a photo) and the beautiful scenery. We didn’t have a reservation, but sitting at the bar facing the ocean was the best seat in the place.We had the felet and sea bass with muscles. Both were very good and cooked perfectly. Our waiter was very nice, knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely go back, and everything was on key. Thank you so much!

Beyond excellent. This is everything I was looking for for a “solo road trip treat yourself” evening. The balance from the food to the atmosphere is on point. The staff was exceptional. I sat at the bar and my bartender is a master of his craft (this was Sunday 01/11/2026). He was there exactly when I needed something, had great recommendations, cool vibe, and made my experience that much better. I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could try everything but I made a good dent with the oysters, ceviche, pasta, and crème brûlée which were out of this world. Thank you Oyster Loft for being the highlight of my foodie trip!

Enjoyed an anniversary celebration dinner here. We ordered the seafood tower and a couple drinks. The seafood was ample, shrimp, langoustines, crab legs, small oysters, ahi tuna, and various sauces. Everything was chilled and cooked to perfection. The amount of seafood and was perfect for us. At $190 it is steep, but how many 27th anniversary’s are you having?

We sat outside and it was great. The heat lamps kept the cool at bay and the sound of the waves lulled us into a very satisfied fullness and contentment.

Service was impeccable. Attentive, helpful, but not overly hovering. We would return and try the other fare.

Fantastic, we had some of the best oysters in our lives. The sablefish and scallops were cooked to perfection. No flavours were too dominating and everything was pretty subtle. Leaving us craving for a well deserved dessert. Again the best cream brûlée I’ve had. The caramel basket was delicious and more than we could bargained for! Hoping we can dine here again!

I have not had seafood this amazing in a long time. We actually stumbled into this place walking down the beach and glad we did. Mike with the pumpkin tie helped make our dinner amazing. Everything went so well we came back a second night. The scallops , the red clam chowder and drinks perfectly made. Everything went so well we thank you for all the hard work and dedication the whole team puts in because it shows. Oyster Loft is a must try.

My experience was wonderful starting with the hostess. I had no reservation and was only a 1-top but she was accommodating and still let me have a table outside with a view.

Michael (I think is his name?) was my server and was super attentive to detail and checked in frequently. I was deciding between different cocktails and dishes and he was articulate in describing the various items on the menu to help me decide.

Even though I was only a 1-top, he still gave me the quality service as if I was a multi-person party. I’m definitely going to ask for him next time I go. Thanks Michael!

Food came out quickly, was delicious. I enjoyed my cucumber cocktail as well.

Absolutely amazing experience. Food was amazing we tried a variety of clams, the seafood tower (super fresh and delicious market price awesome), the wagyu, and the pork chop, and the brownie for dessert. Believe it or not the pork chop was phenomenal!! Drinks were also delicious. Very pleased with the server he made great recommendations for the pork chop and was knowledgeable on oysters. The server was also very knowledgeable about the chefs background which was awesome.

Beautiful location on the water. Plenty of parking. Elegant and dark. Lively atmosphere. Good acoustics for noise.

Unbelievable octopus and buttery oysters. Tartar filled bone marrow was amazing but not as described so keep note, but is so unique.

The Market price steak was great. For steaks it always comes down to the same old story. I can grill the same thing up for – 1/4 of the price and still be killer.

The fish and clams made a great pairing with the broth and seasonings and the sides made for a harmonious dish. (You must like fishy fishy)
