Top tier breakfast Sammy! They have other goods and a nice grab and go for people looking for a “quickie”. They were decently busy this Thursday but cranked out my Sammy in about 5 mins. Extremely fresh ingredients. Sourdough bread was delightful. Excited to try more of the “goods”. Excellent service. Well done!

Arrived at noon on a Thursday. Busy. Six bar stools at the counter. 3 small tables with 3 chairs each. Most occupied. Lucked out two open bar stools. This is primary a vegan food and latte place. A stead stream of middle aged housewifes passed through. My wife had the rice bowl with ginger beet latte.
I had the Italian sandwich with spicy latte. Drinks arrived first, the beet was red with a middle sweetness, my spicy was flavored with Korean chochugaru. Had some depth but not overpowering. The sandwich arrived next, lightly toasted freshly made focaccia. Lite on the palette, good mix of flavors, satisfying. The rice bowl arrived, plenty of piles of fresh chicken, mushrooms, cauliflower over a bed of rice. With tax and tip $45 lunch for two.

Beautiful, high quality food! I wish I had food like this near me in Kirkland! It’s clear they create everything with care. I don’t know what else to say because I’m just so jazzed about this place. I had the mushroom tartine on gf adventure bread with side salad which was DELICIOUS and so nutrient dense, the ginger beer spritzer that was perfectly not sweet, the amazing bone broth yummm, and some pastry goodies!

I had the egg sandwich for the fist time about a year ago and thought to myself, “I think this is the best fried egg sandwich I’ve ever had.” I’m visiting the area again and I made my way back over to Oxalis. I ordered the egg sandwich and can say with certainty, it is the best egg sandwich. The bread, the simplicity and the flavor of all the ingredients just make it hands down the best egg sandwich. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Quick breakfast pitstop on the way to Olympic National Park. Great coffee and an even better breakfast! I recommend the Saturday Breakfast Hash.

I don’t like giving bad reviews so I still have 5 stars. Owners: My iced americano could use less ice. The cup was filled over the brim with ice, and left me with about 5 drinks of actual coffee. Other than that, great little shop. Sandwich was delicious.

Needless to say, we arrived with high expectations based on other reviews and left quite disappointed based on our own experience. We (two couples) arrived around 1pm on Friday at this small cafe which was busy and all tables taken but after a few minutes, the noon crowd left leaving us to occupy one of their small tables sized for just 2 people. The atmosphere was terrible because it was cold outside and every time someone opened the front door, the door would stay open about 2 inches allowing a rush of cold air to make it quite cold inside, so during our brief 45 min stay, I was up and down to close the door at least two dozen times.
Food was served 20 mins after our arrival. The food was okay but certainly not exceptionally good nor tasty. My egg sandwich was dry and not very tasty on semi-toasted bread. The avocado toast had too much garlic and the bread was burnt. Squash soup was okay but not exceptional. Espresso and cappuccino hot drinks were okay but nothing special.
Overall, given the poor environment, less than average quality overpriced food, I would not recommend stopping by. We certainly won’t be returning.

The customer service here was amazing! I got the Asian Rice Bowl!! Whatever they put in it taste amazing! Great meal if you want something light, fresh, and healthy.
The ambiance is cute! There’s limited indoor and outdoor seating, but if you can get a table have a seat! The staff works hard behind the counter to make it all to order!
I would agree with others when saying the wait for your food can feel a little long, but it IS worth it! So grab a coffee and enjoy your time here.
** Be mindful on the day you come, Oxalis shares its space with another restaurant. This tends to confuse people as the menu’s are NOT the same. However if you stumble in on the wrong day the other restaurant is great as well!

Woke up in the mood to not make breakfast. Found this little gem down the street from my house and decided to give it a try. A bit of a line when I showed up but plenty of seating.
The selection of local art and flyers on the wall was pleasant to browse while waiting to order.
Food was phenomenal! I’m going to dream about the Mushroom Tartine tonight I’m sure. Latte was delicious – the real maple syrup was a nice touch.
I think I’m falling in love…
