We had a great breakfast here! The food was fresh and delicious — the veggie omelettes were packed with flavor, the scrapple was crispy and savory, the grits were smooth and buttery, and the home fries were perfectly seasoned. On top of that, the service was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

Working down in Rehoboth at Price Premier and Diamond Motorsports, I noticed Midway Cafe a month ago last time I worked down this way. The cafe was on my list to try. Came in today and ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits. I was actually surprised just how good it is One of my favorites and it tasted like there was love in it. My server was nice and attentive. Sorry I didn’t get her name.
This is not a place with a lot of hoopla and loud music. There was the Food Network on TV and no music. Peace and quiet because the meal speaks for itself.

Stopped in for dinner this evening. The eggplant parm was super delicious over penna pasta and included a house salad. The salad was fresh and crisp and included multiple veggies. Our waitress was one of the nicest women I’ve met in my 19 plus years living down here. My friend had a new phone and couldn’t work it. She came to his rescue. Overall we had a wonderful experience, the food, the value for my money and a GREAT server!

Got the flyer in the mail. Gave them a go. My cheesesteak was really good. Way more steak than bread, pretty dang tasty. Pop had the burger, was heavy! Cooked perfect, he’s now miserable in a good way. Mom had the chicken tenders, couldn’t come close to finishing them, just a bit over done but still good. French fries were good a bit chilly but I like the style. Overall I’d say not bad at all, big servings, good food, price is fair.

Honestly, food was great, but you could tell that most of it came via Sysco or another food reliance company. They did season the food LIGHTLY. The salad greens are left whole instead of chopped which was sort of annoying to eat, but still fresh, no handmade dressing, I was given Ken’s ranch.
Personaly I don’t understand the name being midway cafe, once you look at the many, it’s clearly an Italian restaurant, but completely decorated in a way that makes it seem completely different.
My only caveat about this place is the 2 small mistakes they made, they forgot to put the PASTA in my Eggplant parm with PASTA… And that they packed my cold cake, in between my eggplant parm (over nothing), and the piping hot steamed veggies. Causing the buttercream icing to separate in the container.
Aside from those two issues however, the place was decent, I might return for lunch again soon seeing as it’s right nearby my place of work, but there’s realistically many more-desireable options available in the area.

I came in for breakfast with a group of about 17 on a Sunday morning and let me just start by saying everything exceeded my expectations. Chelsea our waitress was excellent as she made sure our drinks stayed full, got all of our orders correct and made sure we were happy. I ordered a “big breakfast” and that it was!! Eggs, 2 huge pancakes, sausage links, and home fries. Food and service was A+, we found our new monthly spot!

This place is a gem!! My breakfast came with the 2 scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, spinach, onions, tomato, avocado, mushrooms, and homefries/or grits, and toast of your choice! Located in strip next to Dollar Tree, but dont let that deter you! Greated joyfully upon entering, service was timely, and the food was fantastic. I’m from Lancaster PA area and the Cream Chipped Beef was perfect. The Chicken Pesto sandwich was delicious as well. Large portions and food was hot. Definitely a good little spot with BREAKFAST ALL DAY!
