The sushi was the freshest we’ve ever eaten
And it was delicious.
We ordered several appetizers One was more delicious than the next and the presentation was beautiful. The ambiance was very cool and romantic.
Our server Yalcin was very friendly and attentive.
Staff members kept coming over to our table to clean it and to bring us clean plates.
Everyone was so friendly.
The pistachio ice cream and Baklava we had for dessert were sensational.
Next time we are in Miami we are definitely coming back here
The service was even worse.
The staff was inattentive and disrespectful, making us feel unwelcome and undervalued rather than treated as paying customers.
What was supposed to be an enjoyable morning turned into a major disappointment.
Neither the food nor the service met even basic standards. I would not recommend this place.
Steak was ok
Chicken was alright
Sliders were delicious
Im not a big sushi guy yet others said it was good
Eggplant was taken back to the kitchen
Bread was delicious,
Overall we spent around $200 for a group of 3
*they don’t offer parking if you don’t stay in the hotel
To start, this was a random quiet Monday night – not a busy holiday or Shabbat meal. Our waiter was extremely disorganized & distracted when taking our order. The owner or manager was running around shouting orders, clearly not having is small establishment under control.
When the first salad arrived, it was the wrong salad.
After 15 minutes of not receiving our waters, the busser ended up bringing it after asking, only to be charged twice for it.
When we were eating our first appetizer to arrive (with 3 more pending), the waiter came and asked what we wanted for dessert – mind you, we didn’t receive our appetizers or order the entree yet.
When my burger arrived, it had a hard bone inside that nearly cracked my tooth.
And when we asked for the check, the waiter decided to speak to another waiter for a few minutes and take over 10 minutes just to bring the check.
But the worst was yet to come – a few hours later at 2 AM, I woke up with the worst case of food poisoning in years. For hours, I was in the bathroom and couldn’t take my children to school. A few hours after that, my husband also had food poisoning and was bedridden for 21 hours, missing two days of work and a flight he had planned.
Another reviewer mentioned Salmonella in their review and I’m not surprised.
Never will we come here or recommend the Ovo – beware, you’ve been warned.
Food was outstanding, service was one of a kind, and prices compared to NYC were amazing (in NYC we probably would’ve paid $200 more).
Waiter even gave us a wine tasting.
We shared the focaccia bread and the cowboy steak.
Everything was done to perfection ( they even sliced the steak for us and cooked parts of it differently so that we would each enjoy how we like it!)
The ambiance was amazing. We ate outside on the beautiful porch overlooking the water.
Waiter was amazing.
I also davened mincha/maariv on site before we started eating, so was very convenient.
