Everything was really good!!! I especially liked the kid’s meal options for my kids. The burger was delicious and the reuben was tasty. We’d love to come back and try out more of the menu.

We had the sirloin steak and country fried steak dinners. Steak was cook perfectly, mashed potatoes perfectly loaded, chicken fried steak was ok and veggies could be bettering they were fresh and frozen veggies. Prices were good and everything was clean.

We were tired from traveling all day and showed up 20 minutes before closing. The staff was so courteous and friendly! The environment is warm and spacious with nice decor. We ordered the half Italian and half bbq chicken pizza and it was delicious! The crust was crispy and the toppings super fresh! All around a positive experience. I’ll be back when I pass through this town again.

This place is amazing. They have great pizza and beers, and the breakfast is great too. It is really affordable to eat here and the people are very friendly. We had some good talks here. A great place in John Day!

It was great to be able to walk from our hotel to The Outpost for dinner. The service was fast and friendly. The menu has a great variety of choices. I had one of their specialties, Alice Chicken, which was unique and very good. They have homemade ice cream and a whole variety of good deserts. Definitely a find.
