Metrotext has their monthly event here and they feed us breakfast buffet style. Food was delicious I was hungry and didn’t take a pic of my plate but I had pancakes, crispy bacon, scrambled eggs and hash-browns!!! It was all delicious and the staff were very friendly!

$70…. 3 meat combo gives 4 ribs and a scoop of chopped beef. A little plastic cup of green beans…. Ordered fried okra, they decided to give me 2 bags of fries instead…. Chopped beef sandwich had only half the sandwich with meat the only thing I looked at before leaving). The employee went and added more meat. My first and last time.

There’s plenty of seating and you have the ability to rearrange the tables if you have a large party dining in. The staff was really great with taking all of our orders and keeping everything organized. They were also efficient with cleaning up the tables as people trickled out.

The food was pretty yummy and it’s good portion sizes for the price.

I went for breakfast recently and it was something else. I didn’t read the menu fully and missed the breakfast special. I ordered sausage hash browns and biscuits with gravy. Disappointed in the food. The sausage and hash browns were overcooked. Sausage was crunchy which is not good. The biscuits and gravy were flavorless. Might’ve just been a bad cook or something idk. I’ll probably try again but only if I have a Whataburger breakfast bowl as backup. Costs pretty much the same but with flavor.

The Good, The Bad & The Ulgy about our first time visit to Outlaws yesterday. I am a restaurant person (20+ years) so what I notice may not be the same as a non industry worker.

This restaurant has a drive through in addition to counter service you order from right when you enter. We were greeting by a nice young lady who explained the menu when we had a question. We ordered a wide variety of all the meats as well as a loaded potato to give an honest review. We found the Brisket, Sausage and Ribs to be excellent. We liked that they weren’t slathered in BBQ Sauce as if they were trying to cover up something! The Turkey could have benefitted from injection however as it was not dry but bland. They do not offer Pulled Pork which, being from Memphis, made me sad. They also did not have any dry rub which would have helped the Turkey tremendously. The sides were okay. Meals are served with buttered white bread toast. Speaking of buttered… They were out of real butter they said and only whipped spread was offered which is toxic seed oil and I avoid it. The potato was a nice size and loaded with ample fixins. There’s a “bar” where you get jalapenos, pickles, onions, hot sauce and drinks.

THE BAD: PEACH COBBLER (or lack thereof). As a true Southerner that was NOT PEACH COBBLER! Please remove that asap!!! What that was: Canned Peach Pie Filling and Graham Cracker Pie Crust crumbled up in it. I honestly couldn’t believe it and they should be ashamed of themselves charging for such trash. Yes, as my parents were from Mississippi and I grew up on Peach Cobbler I have strong feelings about it.

THE ULGY: They had three young girls working and they had plenty of time to chat among themselves but did not bus the dirty tables!!! There was a long 10 top by the door that was dirty when we walked in (as well as others elsewhere) and it had not been touched when we finished eating and left. Where was the manager??? This was inexcusable and lazy.

Will we return? Perhaps but there are many other BBQ establishments to experience. We live in South Irving so we traveled for this.

First time here. I liked it. And would like to come back and try other items. I had brisket and sausage, green beans and pinto beans. All was good. Nothing stood out as amazing but nothing was bad. Everything was fresh and at the right temperature.
Desserts looked amazing but I didn’t buy any. I had some free ice cream and was good.

The place is clean and has plenty of seating. We sat outside because the wealthy was beautiful and it was very nice until we realized that both visando staff come out there to smoke. I wish they would do so away from dining area. I won’t be seating outside next time.

Service was great and everyone that served us was very kind and professional. I definitely will come back.

I have been a good customer of this place, my favorite plate was huevos rancheros from breakfast menu.
Today I decided to take my kids for a breakfast, and as always I got my coffee and my huevos ranchero. When I went to serve myself coffee, over the counter was a cockroach walking, I told to a worker about it, she got a napkin, picked it up and in about 5min went back to “clean”. By that time I was thinking If the kitchen was clean or there was cockroach everywhere. When I got my huevos rancheros I took a look in the food to make sure nothing was in there, but I saw anything so I started to eat, when I had have eaten almost half of the eggs I got to see there was a cockroach tail in my food, IT WAS SO DISGUSTING!
I told to the same employee about, she took my plate and I never saw her again. I had to tell to another woman about it and I asked for my money back. I have to say that no one came to see us to apologize for that unpleasant experience.

The best tender, juicy but flavorless brisket. I order loose cut, trim the fat, or juicy part. It has zero flavor, but with the BBQ sauce it’s 10/10. The ribs are PERFECT! They are seasoned, tender, and cooked to perfection. There sides are nothing to write home about, which is why I usually get this Atkins Plate, 2 meats, one side, and bread for $12-$15. I have tried the fried okra and onion rings, and they were both fresh and great. You can’t beat the prices.
