What a surprisingly pleasant finale to our second visit of Nelson. We almost missed it.
After touring the Museum, we planned to get back on the road home. But we decided to grab something to eat first, Outer Clove came to our mind.
It is a small dining area with about ten tables but feels really comfortable.
The waitress was friendly, polite, professional, and efficient. Every step of the service was on the money. We ordered the dishes as shown by the photos. The Hungarian fried bread topped the list, while all others tasted great, except for the cabbage roll. You can pass that in my opinion. The pork schnitzel was just right, while the pretzel was incredibly soft, authentic pretzel taste, and texture. Beef Goulash filled our tummies with warmth and depth.
Would definitely go back again next time to Nelson.

We sat outside on the patio. The menu was so varied and authentic, how could I not enjoy it. The goulash was light and balanced, the spatzler was home-made. I loved all the garlic! The stuffed cabbage was perfectly seasoned. Wish we lived here!

We came all the way from Whistler because I heard they serve authentic Czech delicacies, so we decided to celebrate my birthday here. The food brought me incredible joy—I haven’t eaten this well in a very long time. For starters, we had garlic soup, goulash soup, and Langos. For the mains, we tried the Czech fried cheese and halušky. Everything was excellent and full of wonderful flavors. The dessert tasted just like something my great-grandmother from Moravia used to make. I’m leaving with absolute satisfaction and a big smile on my face. Please protect this gem at all cost! Thank you

Such a sweet place for lunch or dinner. Has the seafood crepe and a side salad. Amazingly delicious. The seafood so fresh, garlic sauce top notch and the crepe so melt in your mouth soft. The salad was fresh and lovely with the pickled beets and toasted garlic Would return any time.

First time eating here and the food was so good. We had a cheeseburger with the fries and a salad. All of it was really presented well. Inside the little restaurant is a cool little place to sit the windows are open air is flowing. You will get a sense of garlic smell there and let me just say the garlic is so yummy. I suggest you get the garlic dipping stuff for your food it goes on everything

The last time I tried to go, it was packed to the brim with an hour wait and now I know why. Started with the classic langos fried bread which both my girlfriend and I could only describe as life changing. Will be adding that to every meal every time I return. Followed up with a seafood crepe and soup while my girlfriend got the mushroom and Gouda crepe and fries, which followed the appitizer at least to parity with quality and taste.
We found ourselves leaning back, eyes closed just taking the flavour in many times. By far our now favourite spot in the Kootenays and possibly mine ever.
