So good!! This is the Outback at the Vancouver Mall. We went here yesterday before going to the AMC 23 in the mall to see Wicked for Good. Also it was my birthday celebration. Highly recommend this restaurant! we both got a drink, meals, and shared an appetizer for ~ $140 + tip. He got the Blue Cheese Wedge Salad, steak and lobster, I got the house salad with broccoli and shrimp.

It’s Veterans Day and they honored us with an incredible spread….soup, salad, steak, cheesecake and tons of smiles.
The servers are working their butts off and are so joyful even in the chaos.

Over priced for the quality. Our waitress was lovely but she was the only one that seemed to be working, she was running all over the place. All the other staff was moving slow & seemed relaxed including the mgr. There was 3 of us at dinner & ordered the blooming onion which was greesy and mushy inside. Our dinners took 30 mins at least & she did apologize for takinh so long. I got the ceasar salad vinaigrette for my meal which was wilty on arrival probably b/c it was around a heat lamp. My daughter only order the mashed potatoes which I did return due to a fishy flavor and then all she wanted was their desert. My friend order a steak an potatoes type of meal and although she liked it she said it wasn’t very warm. We were starving by the time we got our food and did eat everything except their disgusting mashed potatoes. I’m not going back, ever. I did love their bread & butter starter, that was the best and our waitress did bring us as much as we were able to ask for if she heard us as she zoomed by our table. She literally seemed to be the only one working. We got their at 6 pm & after taking forever with our food & check it was 8pm.

Our server was amazing! I didn’t ask her name but she was the blonde girl who was working at 4 pm serving a whole section today on Easter Sunday, she was really quick about grabbing more drinks, getting us our order, correcting it for us when it was slightly off, offering more refills and stuff, it was awesome! Thank you so much, this is a GREAT location 🙂 we will be back sometime ♥️ definitely come to this location if you’re thinking about splurging a bit, the food was also incredible, they make fantastic burgers for a steak house especially! And the blooming onion is soooo good!

Food is decent overall.
The appetizers were good.
The fried mushrooms had a good crunch and not over greasy like most places.
The Ahi tuna was delicious. Great flavor with the sauce.
Clam Chowder was served colder. You could tell it sat for a while before being served.
Chicken was super dry and tasted frozen. Prob sat a while before being served also.
Mac and cheese was more like a pasta alfredo. I didn’t care for it at all.
She liked her salad. Said it was tasteful.
Overall, it seems like a good place to sit, have a drink, and eat appetizers. Service was on the shower side, but nothing to leave a negative outlook.

It’s not quite the Outback I remember, but that seems to be the trend these days with rising costs. The rugged Australian vibe and cozy atmosphere are still spot on, and the service was truly fantastic! The bread remains as delicious as ever, and my strawberry Red Bull cocktail was a fun treat with real strawberries.
The food, however, didn’t quite match the menu photos or the hearty feel I expected — served on dainty plates and a bit saltier than savory. Still, I know firsthand how tough the restaurant business can be, so maybe it was just an off day.

I love it when I’m impressed with a restaurant! All the meals (especially the salads) coming out to tables looked really good! Wasn’t expecting much for a $13 lunch… but whoa! That was some of the best chicken breast I’ve had. Very moist and flavorful as was the rice. The broccoli was steamed just right, too. My friend loved her steak that was cooked just right for her and said the French onion soup was also nice. The dairy-free bread was good. Big portions and they have a military discount! They also have a nice happy hour I’ve heard. Lots of parking since it’s at the mall. Our server, Jane, was patient, helpful, and great at her job! I would not hesitate to come back! And actually I’d say one of the best options for good, quality food at a nice price point.
