Good food and steak house prices $20-$30. Been here several times for dinner and never had any issues with food or service. They have consistently cooked our steaks correctly and haven’t had to send it back for being undercooked. The blooming onion is good but greasy like others have mentioned. The times we have been here the staff have been friendly as well.

Food is as expected, a bit greasy. My son loves the Bloomin Onion and we get it every Veteran’s Day for free with a soft drink. The sauce is great but its quite greasy. I do notice they have a high employee turn over and that makes it hard to want to eat there very often. The kids that work there are nice. But I rarely see anyone older that appears in charge. I was very disappointed to walk outside to get my car and my son and I had to walk through 2 men smoking right outside the door. Its against the law but they made me feel unsafe to do anything but get in our car and get away. I am not sure we will ever go back to this location!

I love me some outback. Their service is always great and their food is predictable and delicious. If I ask for a rare steak I get a rare steak. And holy hell… their all you can eat shrimp special when it comes around is unbelievable. The only reason I’d say four stars here instead of five is because they run out of our favorite soup way too often. For anyone that doesn’t know… their clam chowder used to win awards in SB and is so good. It’s just unlikely there will be any left if you go in much later than 8 and they don’t do it on the weekdays anymore either.

Been coming here for years. Live just around the corner. Has always had great, friendly bartenders…..very accommodating despite the occasional food issues. Glad the bread is free, sometimes the best part of the dinner experience. The new Philly steak sandwich needs to be removed from the menu. Very, very poor version of any semblace of the original. First, guest had her wrong size salad delivered 10 minutes prior to my miniature, no cheese Philly being delivered. Sent it back to have cheese added & it came back with half the meat and unmelted cheese. Guest had the proper size salad delivered. I’ve noticed my duration of visits becoming fewer & further between.

This restaurant has good food, hands down. Very pleasant staff, sometimes a little snooty, but when they focus they deliver quality. Again, the food is absolutely perfect. The kitchen is well run, every thing I order is spot on. Great portions too.
The “lounge” which is just the expanded tables around the bar, is very nicely run. The staff is polite and treat everyone well. What I really like is they treat business people well and that matters because we are on the road so much.
I highly recommend Outback in Goleta.

Blooming Onion is all esthetics when it comes to your table. I don’t know if the onion used for my dish was a dud, but the onion itself didn’t taste well, it wasn’t fried fully, the batter was raw on most areas. They ran out of BBQ ribs so I grabbed a burger that was your typical mom and pop burger with typical fries I can get from any burger joint. Nothing special. I was blessed with one glass of water for my entire meal and was not offered another one, not even when I attended a tech 101 class on how to pay via their mini iPad. I give it a one star because their free bread and butter was actually tasty. If only their valued items were as good as their free ones. I’m not planning on coming back anytime soon.

My favorite Outback entrée, the Rack of Lamb, was perfect! The Cabernet sauce and baked potato were perfect! Good service, reasonable price — what more can I say? My wife’s Cesare salad and sirloin steak met all her expectations, too.

Went there for lunch today. Was not busy, I think maybe 4 or 5 other groups. Took forever to get drink, than when food did arrive had to wait another 5-10 minutes to get silverware. Food was good, little over priced but service not worth going again unless you have 3 hours for lunch.

We went there as a family of five.
When we were going in, in front of us there was also a family of three. The place was completely empty but the host seated the family of three as they walked in.
We were right behind and the host said give five minutes and I’ll be right with you. Waited about twenty minutes and it was like we weren’t there. What a shame…..I’ll don’t think I’ll be going there to spend my money
