I love this place. I always sit at the bar and their staff is fantastic. I’m pretty sure Alyna, Bella, & Megan are the best bartenders in San Marcos. They offer great conversation and hospitality. Steaks are always cooked perfectly. Beers are super cold and food is always hot. I’ll be back… and soon.

We had such a great time stopping at the Outback in San Marcos before we went shopping. Bella and Meagan were the friendliest staff we’ve ever encountered. They spent plenty of time ensuring that we were well taken care of, and were personable beyond the average script you get at other restaurants. The drinks were amazing, and their attention was beyond comparison. The restaurant was clean, our seats were quick, and I would say this is one of the better operations in this area.

Great drinks and the spinach dip and chips are amazing! Ribeye was good, not great. Bread complicated very well. Sweet potato was great with just butter and salt. Will eat here again and again but will try something besides the ribeye. Only down side was the people next to us playing videos loudly for their kid.

Tonight, In San Marcos, Texas, December 13, 2025, my family took me out to dinner for my 79th birthday. Our server’s name was Thomas. I must say he went beyond the call when it came to making sure my birthday was special. He catered to my every request. In addition, he was an absolute treasure to talk to. My entire family thought he was an outstanding young man. The highlight was at the end of the dinner when he brought out a divine piece of chocolate cake. The only problem was there were no candles to be found. So he lit a cigarette lighter and held it while the family sang happy birthday to me. It was priceless. Thomas made my evening and I will forever be grateful.

Tonight when we dined in our server was lauryn, she is the kindest most helpful server I have ever had the pleasure of serving me. She was attentive and always checked up on us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I would recommend lauryn as the top server of outback! if I ever make my way back to outback at the outlet malls, I hope that lauryn is my server again because she is a sweet and kind soul. I love that girl! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really like the lighting and atmosphere in this place. It took a little while to get a table, but when we did, we got our appetizers quickly and plenty of bread & butter while waiting for the main courses. It was a pleasant and peaceful place for supper after my uncle’s funeral.

Bella is the best bartender ever!!!!! I asked is she could do a skinny margarita and she said “absolutely”. Next thing I know, I look over and shes juicing the fruit on the spot for the next 10 minutes 😮 I was not expecting her to go out of her way for my drink. She went way far and beyond. This drink taste like Mexico! Its amazing, but dont go asking for one because I’m sure not everyone will do it. Thanks Bella!!!
