For the price, I think this is the best cost for quality out there in my opinion. I got a porterhouse steak, 22 ounce for 36$ and it was terrific.
Additionally, the Funion was fun. A little overcooked but that’s okay because the steak and sides made up for it. Terrific mac n cheese. The coleslaw, potatoes and green salad were nice.

The restaurant consistently hits the sweet spot for casual steak lovers – think juicy, well-seared cuts cooked just the way you like, alongside flavorful sides and signature appetizers like the Bloomin’ Onion that never disappoint. With options like casual outdoor seating, curbside takeaway, and generous dine-in menus including seafood and cocktails, it’s a go-to spot whether you’re grabbing a family dinner or unwinding with friends. Backed by mostly positive local reviews and a solid 80% recommendation rate among hundreds of diners, this Outback brings consistent value, crowd-pleasing flavors, and a friendly atmosphere that’s hard to beat.

Loved the meal on a Monday night. Salad, potato and wine was excellent. My steak was a bit too rare and I asked to send it back. The chef and waitress were very accommodating and kind. The restaurant was clean and modern. I didn’t enjoy sitting next to work/server area but other than that, it was all very good!

4 out of 5 Stars – A Solid Start to the Weekend at Outback Steakhouse

After rolling into Rochester and getting settled at our hotel, we decided to kick off the weekend with something familiar — Outback Steakhouse. Not knowing the area yet, it felt like a safe and satisfying choice, and it absolutely was.

We arrived around 4:30 PM and were pleasantly surprised to be among the first guests for dinner — no wait, no crowd, and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s always nice to enjoy a meal without the chaos of a packed dining room.

Our server was friendly, quick to take our order, and kept things moving smoothly. While drink and bread refills could’ve been a little more attentive (especially with such a quiet dining room), the overall service was still solid.

The food came out fast, hot, and exactly how we ordered it — generous portions, great flavor, and honestly more food than we could finish. We all ended up taking leftovers back to the hotel.

Sure, it’s a national chain, but this Outback delivered a consistently good experience, making it a perfect, no-stress way to start the weekend. Thank you, Outback, for a satisfying meal and a comfortable dining experience.

Ive been to this Outback twice. The service is amazing… I have never had a bad server. However, both times I have ordered steak and both were undercooked! I order medium rare and both times they were severely rare.. almost uncooked. Very disappointing. The cooks maybe need to be re-trained.. or hire better cooks. Updating my review because evidently Outback didnt read my feedback… as u can see in their response

My husband and I decided to go here for Valentine’s day. We expected the restaurant to be busy, no doubt. What we didn’t expect was to be essentially ignored by our server (Violet I think her name was ) and when asked about cross contamination with shellfish not only did she take nearly 20 minutes to bring back the answer, but she nearly never shared it we had to ask again.

Besides the point there. My overall irritation is we were checked up on 3 times, once upon arrival, once to grab our order and one for boxes (another issue I will cover). We sat without drinks for a good half of our meal, and when we got our drinks my husband expressed to me he didn’t want to actually drink anything for fear of our waitress never even noticing. Which he was right. It wasnt until the end of our meal where she noticed and provided us our refills and gave us boxes.

Mind you I had a soup, and was provided a box to take it home… I was so irritated and frustrated that I just gave up. We left. Im amazed my husband tipped this server.
It appeared it was not just us who happened to experience this issue but I can’t be sure as I am not the other patrons. What I will say, if you think the restaurant will be busy. Dont go. Its not worth eating a basically raw meal for a price that just isn’t worth it for beyond subpar service. Go somewhere else.

I’ll try not to be too bougie about it, but this is a chain steakhouse. You’re not going to get anything groundbreaking, but you will get the same experience generally every time. And this time was no exception. The steak was cooked exactly how I ordered it, and seasoned well. I got the sweet potato, loaded, and it was fantastic. We also got the trio appetizer and everything came out fresh and crispy and was enjoyed by the table.

At the time that I went they had a ” three course meal ” and I went with the house salad, the 8 oz sirloin, and then the cheesecake with raspberry sauce. For $22 it was a pretty good deal. How salad was nothing to write home about but it was crisp and cold and fresh. As I stated earlier the steak I ordered medium rare and it came out with a nice red center. The seasoning was great and I had no struggles chewing or enjoying the steak. The cheesecake was also good although I did take it home and eat it later.

Overall everybody enjoyed their meal, nobody had any complaints. The service was quick end excellent and the manager stopped by to make sure that we had no complaints or questions.

I would go again.

Good overall. Once I had a steak that was a little tough. Usually good though. Service is moderate or adequate whichever you prefer.

The first time I went all five stars, second time I went not as good. Food was overcooked and service wasn’t great. But the first time I went was awesome. Everything was perfect. It depends who’s cooking and depends who’s serving. That’s why I give it a four out of five.

Very poor food. Broccoli was hard, limited toppings for a loaded baked potato, Ribeye steak was not grilled but cooked on a flat top. Caesar salad tasted like chemicals. Horrible place to eat. Would recommend Texas Roadhouse or Ruth Chris. Don’t waste your money here.
