Best service every time just ask for Jess. She is attentive, pleasant, friendly, making sure you have what you need, food is to your liking, you have refills of pop and/or water. The pick 3 is great. Chicken on the Barbie, Coconut Shrimp, grilled shrimp, French onion soup, beacon chop salad are my favorite choices. Best dessert Chocolate Thunder. Who doesn’t just love a bloomin’ onion. People try to duplicate or imitated, but there’s only one bloomin’ onion and it’s Outback.

My husband and I went to Outback in Novi for Valentine’s Day dinner. The wait wasn’t terrible (they weren’t taking call ahead seating) and our server, Kristen, was delightful! Unfortunately, that is about the end of the positives in our experience. We ordered fairly quickly but waited over half an hour for our salads to come out. It was at least another 45 minutes from that until our entrees came out. We both ordered the 6oz barrel cut filet cooked medium rare. Neither steak was “barrel cut” and neither was medium rare – both were over cooked and dry as a bone. My husband’s was worse than mine – he ate about two bites. I tried to eat mine since I LOVE steak and, after over an hour of waiting for our food, I was HUNGRY. I ate less than half and had to give up. When Kristen saw we weren’t eating, she asked if we wanted boxes – we told her no thank you, the steaks were terrible. She felt bad and asked the manager to come talk to us. The manager was RUDE from the moment she approached our table. She literally said, “So – what do you want me to do here??” She offered to re-make our food, but at this point, we’d been there for over TWO HOURS and we just wanted to go home – which we told her. She then pointed out that I’d actually eaten almost half of mine! Her rudeness continued when she told us she’d “see what she could do with our bill,” and that she’d come back to let us know. She literally never came back. Our server came back and, when she pulled up our bill, told us that one of our entrees had been taken off the bill. We said we were fine with that – again – at this point we were just ready to leave.
The food was prepared wrong, had CLEARLY been sitting under a heat lamp drying out for a LONG time, and the manager was rude to us despite the fact that we weren’t even the ones to ask for any sort of recompense for the fact that we didn’t even eat the dinner we were paying for. Very sad that customer service was clearly NOT a priority for that manager – especially on a night they knew was going to be busy.
Again, our server was delightful but we probably won’t go back because of the very rude manager and overall poor quality of the food.

Our server, Britain, was an absolute delight. He was not only helpful and kind, but also made us feel like we were welcomed. The food was hot and made it to our table very quickly. I do not like eating out much due to either the service at a restaurant or the food (or both in some cases) are lousy. Today my husband and I experienced both delicious food and great service in an almost peacefully quiet, clean, and inviting atmosphere. This was our first time enjoying Outback and we will be back again for lunch soon!

We had really good meals at Outback – the ribeye for my husband and the filet mignon for me. We had brocoli and sweet potatoes for sides and everything was very nicely prepared! I enjoyed a glass of cabernet and my husband had the piña koala, which was a rum-based martini that he really liked!!

We decided at the last minute to go for our anniversary dinner here because we were in the area already. We hadn’t been to an Outback in 10 years. There had been a water main break in the area and we were told they had bottled water and cans of pop but no fountain drinks. Full bar was available. I thought it was great that they told us before we were seated and that they had a plan in place. Our waitress was super friendly and efficient. I had prime rib and it was cooked exactly how I asked for it. It was tender and flavorful from the herb crust. My husband had a sirloin steak and he said it was cooked perfectly. Salads were fresh and had a good amount of cheese, cucumber and tomato. It looked exactly the same on the inside as we remembered. It was very clean but the decor and seating could use a refresh. Not a big deal but just seemed a bit outdated. We enjoyed the food and service was great, so we will def come back soon.

Our server was Brian, he was amazing and knowledgeable. First time coming in and the food was delicious. Environment was welcoming. Everyone was pleasant and fast. Will definitely be back!!
