Boisterous Australian-themed chain serving steaks, seafood & other hearty steakhouse fare.

First time I had eaten at an Outback for years. Food was actually really good. Had the blooming burger and some grilled shrimp. Only hiccup was service, not super attentive, although friendly when engaged. Overall good value for money and surprisingly awesome cheesecake.

A very mediocre and overrated steakhouse with somewhat mediocre food and small portions. A side a French fries was 14 pieces, my wife had a whopping 9 pieces. The burgers are flavorless and are lacking in many aspects. The cheese on the burgers was hard to bite and like translucent plasticized leather. Prices are pretty expensive for even in the area. service is okay but extremely slow. This was lunchtime, but they were not busy. Whatsoever, now I know why. Would not recommend this steakhouse unless you just want to get rid of a lot of money.

The food was great but they seemed short staffed or did not communicate good with the other co workers because different ppl were delivering portions of our order to the table plus it was freezing cold inside the restaurant but the meal i purchased is something I will try again

Went to celebrate hubbys birthday tonight. My burger was delicious, his expensive ribeye however, was not good, said it had a heavy ginger flavor and too fatty, not enough meat. He ended up barely being able to eat it. June however is a phenomenal waitress which these days seems hard to come by. She was super attentive, extremely kind and kept us topped off from start to finish!

Worst service ever!! We were brought our food by someone else but only part of it. We had to flag someone else down for our soup and salad since we couldn’t find our waitress. We were going to order dessert but couldn’t get our waitress to come over to the table. We asked for our check and boxes for leftovers. That took forever. We finally asked another waiter for our check and a box. He showed us the little gadget on the table but it was all on one check. He said our waitress would have to split it. She finally showed up with the checks and left again. I dont usually like to leave money on the table but I paid with cash and didnt feel like staying even longer waiting for her to come by again so we just left it there. Worst service ever!!!

I enjoy this Outback when I drive up there to visit Sam’s club from Warsaw.
Employees @ this OB always Welcome me w/the utmost respect & thank me for my service. OB food is always of the highest quality & quantity. I got to visit Sydney,Aus. on my 2nd 7day R&R from RVN in April 1971 & worked alongside a couple Royal Australian Air Force service men in RVN.
@ 76yrs old now,I’m 90% CD w/the VA due to exposure from Agent Orange de-foliant used to kill the jungle vegetation.(like an estimated 3 million other military who served)
Always have enjoyed dining @ Outback Steak Houses, all over this area & always will. Thank-you!

I must’ve been here 100 times! I haven’t had an issue with the service! Great people, great environment, great food! But the people/service… Everyone is so nice! Even if there’s a little issue they go above and beyond to fix it! Last night I ordered to go. There was a small issue and without my knowledge they made it right and told me afterwards! Great place and great service always wins!

I placed a pickup order over the phone and the girl on the phone was very nice. I came into the restaurant to pick it up, I was using a gift card and couldn’t pay for it online in advance, and there’s an employee by the host area and she asks me how she can help, I let her know I was picking up an order and she proceeds to point to an exit sign at the back of the restaurant and told me to wait there by the exit sign and someone would help me. I proceed to wait at least 10 minutes up against this wall with no employees trying to assist me and the original lady who told me where to stand continued to grab bread for a table and soda refill looking at me each time but continuing what she was doing. I understand she had a table to service and I just wish she could have informed somethe me during that 10 plus minute time span that I was still waiting to be helped. After 10 minutes an employee comes around and asks “can I help you” I explained the pick up order and she said oh okay one second , a different female employee came from the area by the exit sign and somewhat rudely asked “do you need something” I said again about my order and then the girl who said “one second” came back and led me to a very small pick up area. That girl was very nice and helpful she apologized for the miscommunication and I told her it was okay thank you so much. My issue is the complete lack of any identification of a pick up area for orders. Even as you walked out the door of that pick up area it is a side road with speed bumps and again no markings outside of a pick up area. I was put up against a wall and the pick up area was so small you couldn’t even see it unless you turned that corner sharply which the other side looks like employee only kitchen area so obviously as a guest I’m not going to enter that area. I didn’t appreciate waiting 10 minutes as my order was getting cold because of the lack of communication and overall lack of employee presence in the restaurant. There was multiple tables of guests but no one at the server area, no one behind the bar, only one server appeared multiple times within that 10 minutes and other than that 2 employees brought dessert to a table and went back to the back again. I would not place a pick up order here it was extremely uncomfortable waiting on the wall while people were eating and looking at me and besides the nice lady who checked me out the other employees came off rude.

First, although there is an online “waitlist” you can get on and where you can pick your time–the fine print tells you this is not a “reservation.” Fair enough, but when we arrived after using the online waitlist and getting a confirmation of it, we were completely ignored. There were probably about 20 empty tables. The hostess did not smile or greet us even though all the other guests who were waiting were seated on the benches and we were the only ones standing in front of her. She then got menus and seated four different tables before my husband finally went up to her and told her we had gotten on the online waitlist. She took our name and phone number the same as if we had walked in. Then, she proceeded to seat other people including those who came in after us. Finally, one of the other groups she called pointed out that we had been waiting (directly in front of her hostess stand) since before they had entered. There were only two of us, but it had taken over 15 minutes to get a table despite being on the online “waitlist.”
The waiter was great and friendly. However, my husband ordered his steak medium well and got it that way. I ordered my stead well done and got it medium. When the waiter asked if it was okay and found out, he took it into the kitchen. When he quickly returned, the steak had been flattened and was black on the outside, but still pink inside. Obviously, whomever was cooking was not aware that turning up the heat isn’t the way to get something done on the inside and that most people don’t want a steak that has clearly been pressed into the grill in a bad attempt to cook it quickly.
The meal doesn’t really fill the plate if you get a salad as your side instead of a different option. The food was okay, but I felt that for the price, which is $20+ per entrée, it wasn’t really worth it–especially after getting the hostesses cold shoulder and a flattened, charred steak.

Me and my wife went to Outback for a steak, which we ordered medium rare. The steaks came out burnt on the outside, red and bloody on the inside. The waitress was nice enough to have them remake the steaks. Unfortunately the new steaks came out exactly the same as the first two. This was on a weeknight so we figured maybe it was a fluke with a new cook.
Well, we made the mistake of returning on a Friday night a month later and sadly we had the exact same experience, steaks well done outside and bloody and extremely rare on the outside. The only thing that was offered to us this time was for them to continually put the stakes back on the grill. Which only continued to burn them and only get them a little less raw.
Please do not go to this steakhouse for a steak, until they figure out how to actually cook a steak.
