The young man that waited on us was excellent. Really made our night with his jokes and great attitude. We had the prime rib and it was great. However their steak knives dull so when I go back for prime rib again I’m bringing my own knife lol.

I don’t understand the negative reviews for this Outback Steakhouse location—my experience couldn’t have been more different, and it was absolutely outstanding!
My mom and I stopped in to celebrate her birthday, and everything was perfect from start to finish. We both ordered the Smoked Cinnamon Pecan Old Fashioned, and wow—it was one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced sweetness, smoke, and just the right kick of bourbon. Easily a 10/10 drink.
I went with the 6oz filet mignon cooked medium-rare with mashed potatoes, and it was flawless—tender, juicy, and seasoned exactly right. Medium-rare truly is the only way to enjoy a great steak, and they nailed it.
Even though it was a packed Friday night and the place was loud and bustling, the energy felt fun rather than overwhelming. Our server was an absolute rockstar (I wish I’d caught his name!). You could tell he’d been slammed all evening, but he never let it show—attentive, friendly, and on point the entire time. He earned every bit of the generous tip I left.
This was my first visit to Chattanooga, and while I may not be back anytime soon, this Outback is now bookmarked as a must-return spot. Highly recommend—5 stars without hesitation!

My first time eating here December 28th. I ordered the bbq grilled chicken family of 4 bundle. It was amazing! We actually made a total of 6 meals out of it. Loved everything we got! The guy that took the order was so nice and knew what to do. He was also the one who brought the order to the car. Still so nice and made sure everything was correct. I wished I had gotten his name, hopefully they’ll know by the date in this review who it was. Thank you for great service! Great first experience!

My family loves outback and we always have a great experience when we go. Food quality is great and always cooked how we ask. They have some cool drink specials every now and then you can try as well. The coconut shrimp is amazing. Salads on point along with the steaks. My wife loves the ahi tuna. Overall I would definitely recommend this location.

Outback is a piece of crap! We set for almost an hour and a half waiting on a table when tables were open. My husband went in at an hour wait to see how much longer. They said they were told to wait 35 more minutes before seating anyone else. Mind you, this is my birthday and we had three kids who were hungry also. The reason we didn’t just go somewhere else was because we only had a gift card for there and no money really to eat somewhere else. I called and asked how much longer it was gonna be, they then tell us they shut the kitchen down without telling anyone they were shutting it down. I was like were yall just not gonna tell the people you all had waiting to be seated???!!! How unprofessional and crappy that is to treat your customers that way. At least send a text saying you were no longer letting people be seated. I don’t feel you should have even told us to wait if you were just not gonna sit us to begin with. Wasting our time especially on my birthday! Y’all are an awful place of business, and do not think about your customers first. Y’all were probably too busy worried about clocking out then taking care of the customers who waited an hour and 18 minutes to eat at your pathetic restaurant! Y’all don’t even deserve our business after the way you treated us! We would have went somewhere else if we didn’t have the gift card for there. It was so late after waiting on y’all to seat us, that we couldn’t get seated to eat anywhere else because it was close to them closing. You ruined my birthday dinner with my family! We ended up having to eat Taco Bell because that was about the only place open at that time besides other fast food places. I will never ever recommend eating at your restaurant to anyone! I will be sharing our story to everyone I know plus the BBB. If a manager wants to reach out and make it right then I’ll gladly have a discussion with one. If not, then that just shows even more how awful your establishment is.

12oclock noon. Only patron at the bar. Waited 10 minutes for a hastily greeting. No menu. No silverware. No bread. But she asked if I was ready to order lol. After I ordered, my salad came with my meal. Still no silverware or napkins for my food. No return. This establishment has been going down hill for a while. Management should do a better job with their dis shoveled riffraff bar staff. Yikes! Left my food sitting and walked out.

We go to Outback probably once a month. Usually on a Friday my husband and I leave work early and sit at the bar so we can have Carol make us a smoked old fashioned. We absolutely adore her. She has the best sense of humor and the best old fashions!!! My husband and I Usually split a steak with a loaded baked potato and add an extra side salad. The steaks are always cook to perfection. The bread is always served fresh and warm. We enjoy our occasional Fridays at Outback Steakhouse!

My wife and I eat here pretty regular. She likes the salads here better than at longhorn. We always make sure to order our steaks rare that way we can get them medium-rare. For some reason they just can’t the mark seem to hit the mark. But that does seem to be the new standard in just about any steak restaurant. Service is always pretty good. And the management will take care of you if there is a major problem with your meal.
