The new Outback in Phenix City, AL was amazing!!! There was no wait time at all and our server Mercedes was magnificent! She seated us quickly and taken our order for drinks right away. We order a appetizer and it came out very quickly along with our sides. Mercedes continue to check on us, making sure we didn’t need anything throughout our dinner. She was helpful with food choices and some things that she recommended. All in all it was a great experience and we would recommend anybody looking for a great Steakhouse close by. Also if you get the server Mercedes, you are in amazing hands. Thanks and we will be back!!

The outback steakhouse is a great success in Phenix City, Alabama. The waitress that we had was superb. Our food was a little slow coming but it was a table of 15 people. The food that we had was fresh and delicious. I hope that the standard continues to be high. The atmosphere was cozy and clean. It was a birthday celebration and they allowed us to bring in a cake. The whole waitress and waiter team sang happy birthday to our loved one.

This was quite possibly the worst Veteran’s Day meal I’ve ever had. It’s not because the food wasn’t good. It was barely better than a military DFAC but we get it…the restaurant chains sell their loss leaders or cheapest concoctions to virtue signal their patriotism on Veteran’s Day. It’s capitalism and it’s good business.
What was unacceptable was waiting fifteen minutes before someone even bothered to acknowledge my presence. Ten minutes went by before they even gave me a menu or asked me for a drink. They only gave me the Veteran’s Day menu card assuming I didn’t want to see the full one. Then when I ordered it took about forty minutes to even get my food. I ordered the baked potato soup and the 6oz steak with rice. I got the sloppily assembled and very hard steak with salted rice finally. How it looks in the pictures is how it was presented. Just a sad ball of meat and it felt like someone chucked the rice on there as an afterthought. By this time I didn’t even get silverware. I had to ask for my baked potato soup which I guess they forgot about. Staff at the bar is impossible to get a hold of. I don’t think they prepared for a night like this. The kitchen didn’t either. I regret ordering the beer knowing I had to eventually fork out $6.59 to this establishment.
I would rather the staff just have insulted me than put on that show of mediocrity.

Nothing more than Outstanding!! Our food was out of this world and our service was top notch – Thank you Temu!! TY to all the beautiful ladies who came to our table starting with drinks, salad then food!! This was our first visit, as we told the manager, and who complemented us with a special TY treat!! This location does not know how to cook steaks the way it was ordered. This was suppose to be medium rare, looks burnt to us. Ridiculous. The amount of money we spend should be what we order. My husband legit broke his knife trying to cut it. Also never got extra sauces for salad or honey mustard we asked for. It’s an online order how do you mess this up, it’s literally written down for you. Very disappointing. Save your hard earned money and please go somewhere else!

Had lunch today with my aunt- and everything we had was great, but the highlight was the service! Our server was Chloe, she was great! Her service was ON TIME! Her greeting, her timing, recommendations and salesmanship was definitely next level! You can imagine our surprise when we found out that this was her 3rd day out of training!!! She was amazing!

This was unfortunately, my first trip to Outback ever most likely will not return to this location highly unsatisfied. It was during lunch and there was only 3 tables in the building 1 of which already had food. I ordered Tasmanian chili with the Alice spring chicken did not taste as good as I had expected or hoped and the 2 pork chops with asparagus and a caesar salad total cost B4 tip $47.15. My entire order was put in at 11:59 I did not receive it until 12:50 and I didn’t even get everything i ordered. So you know, almost an hour the bartender Corrina was very pleasant. And helpful, but unfortunately, I feel the back of house is lacking the manager seemed very unpleasant and aggravated.

The place and the people were great. The Blooming Onion and salads, great. My prime rib only so so. It looked like it had been sitting under the warmer. Came out dey looking and a strange color, like they cut it and set it out while everyone else’s dish was being prepared. It was only so-so. With a prime rib you expect very tender but was quite grissly. Very much not good for the price. The server was wonderful. It was my Mom’s birthday and they sang to her. Would go back but no prime rib.
