First time trying the new location in Cullman. Promptly greeted and sat right down. Waiter greeted us in wonderful Aussie fashion. The bloomerang cheesesticks were good. I ordered the 6oz center cut sirloin and alice springs chicken. My wife ordered the 6oz center cut sirloin. The alice springs chicken was outstanding. Unfortunately, both cuts of meat were lacking. Both were cooked correctly and had great flavor. However, they were chewey and veiny. We did notify the manager and one meal was comped so this place is run correctly. Overall, a decent experience.

We were lucky enough to be invited to the soft opening of the brand-new Outback Steakhouse here in Cullman, and let me just say — they absolutely blew it out of the water. From the moment we walked in, the energy was warm, polished, and welcoming. You could tell immediately this team came ready.
The service? Impeccable. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited to be there — not rushed, not rehearsed, just top-notch hospitality.
And the food… wow.
Perfectly cooked steak with a flawless sear, tender and juicy inside. The asparagus was fresh with just the right bite, and that skillet mac & cheese? Creamy, rich, and dangerously good. The kind you keep thinking about long after the plate is empty. Every detail felt intentional and elevated.
For a soft opening, this felt like a grand opening on day one. If this is the standard they’re setting right out of the gate, Cullman is in for something special.

Huge shoutout to Outback for an absolutely fantastic experience! They fed our boys and girls varsity basketball teams from Athens (45 people, to-go), which is no easy task—and they nailed it. Every meal was hot, fresh, and perfectly prepared, with individual boxes labeled with names, plasticware included, and everything organized and ready to go. The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the food was a total hit with everyone. Coordinating a large to-go order like this can be tough, but they made it seamless. Truly impressive service and quality—thank you for taking such great care of our teams!

I went to the first time to our Cullman location. Outback is one of my favorite restaurants…. I had one of the best meals ever today. The steak was cooked and seasoned literally perfectly. The waitresses (one was training and doing fantastic) were so kind and checked on us often. My mother had the Alice chicken and it’s her favorite dish there & it was great. Overall very strong 5 stars!!

The service was absolutely excellent. I highly recommend Olivia. She was so sweet and helpful. As for the food, the appetizers were better than the main course. My husband ordered the ribs but they weren’t very meaty and more fat than anything. My steak and salad were good but the grilled shrimp ended up making me sick after we got done eating. Im not sure if it was the seasoning or just the shrimp itself. Overall I would put our experience as a 4-4.5 stars.

We took our family to Outback Steakhouse during their opening weekend, and despite how busy they were, everything ran smoothly. We were seated right on time for our reservation, which we really appreciated. The service was top notch—friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. The food was delicious, and the Awesome Blossom onion appetizer is always a favorite. Overall, it was a great experience, especially considering the opening-week crowds. We will definitely be back again soon.

I got our order to go and the staff responded to me as soon as I parked in to go parking. They bought me a drink as I waited and were friendly. My wait was within the time limit given when I ordered online. The food was great as well! We will definitely go back.
