Tried Krab Kingz for the first time today and it was TOO good. I ordered the crab and shrimp dinner plate and the large shrimp dinner plate, both with cajun seasoning and both fire, not too salty like some places. The service was also great and the man with the white beard was very kind and friendly. I haven’t even finished my plate and I’m already looking forward to going back!!

Had the pleasure of trying Krab Kingz; I’m glad I did because they gave me the seafood boil I was looking for, being from the Houston area! My boyfriend and I tore this up and had the chance to tell the gentlemen in the truck cooking that this was fire. We will be back for some good boil here in Austin!

As other reviews have stated it is a food truck… Which if ur good with the outdoors chill atmosphere then this is ur spot. Food was good.. Actually being from New Orleans i am sometimes skeptical but i was utterly surprised .. They serve real Catfish.. Thats a win in my book all day.
2 large fillets with 10 hand breaded shrimp and fries for $25 was actually fair.
A couple of old bad reviews are still listed here but do not go by that.. check em out…

DISCLAIMER: This is a FOOD TRUCK. You can mainly find them/resides at the park. They also have no affiliation to the other establishment with the same name (Krab Kingz) at different locations in Texas. For those that did not know this you’ve been informed!
Krab Kingz Austin came up as a seafood restaurant on my quick Google search. Since there’s a Krab Kingz in El Paso (which I LOVE as it’s a veteran owned entity) I had to try the Austin version. They did not disappoint! The guy was very informative, nice and patience with us as my mom wanted to try everything possible on the menu. She ended up getting the shrimp platter whilst I got the snow clusters dish. I ended up placing some of the sauce & food in a bowl and tossing (pictured below). It was SSSSSOOOOO delicious and flavorful! For my size I even had some extra for breakfast the next day .
Would absolutely recommend this place to eat. And if you have room for other food options there’s some taco trucks nearby.

This place is solid. I stopped by the area for the seafood taco and ceviche truck which closed early, so went to Krab Kings instead. Great boil all around. I got the crab and shrimp Cajun style – delicious! Nice dude too! I’ll be back again.

I visited an Austin food truck park, and decided to try this spot. The atmosphere was cozy at night with the string lights and outdoor seating at picnic tables. The food took about 30 minutes to be ready as it was cooked to order. It didn’t feel that long people watching at the tables. The crab was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I saw some reviews with dry seasoning piled on top of the crab, but mine didn’t come like that. I got Cajun seasoning. It was delicious!

Unknowingly went for Sunday funday, there is a DJ starting at 6! It was packed and the music was loud but overall a fun environment to have a seafood boil! Would recommend arriving early to get seating. I had the seafood special and it was good overall, I liked the potatoes and crab in the lemon pepper / garlic parm seasoning. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Corn a little overcooked but not bad. The crab legs/claws were a little small but overall were filling! Sausage is smoked and really flavorful.

AVOID this food truck at all cost. If you have to, CHECK THE FOOD before you leave. Would give Zero stars if I can. Irresponsible owner/staff left out important ingredient and DOORDASH WON’T REFUND the lost value. And the food is even more of a disappointment.
I bought the Seaside platter of $67 plus tax that’s $70. LARGEST and PRICIEST in the menu. (You can get way better food for better value at HappyRito) It’s supposed to have 3 crab clusters but when I got home, the only seafood I found is the 18 shrimps (not fresh at all), with other sides. Now I know he kind of left out the crabs on purpose, because it was approaching their close time and I was the last customer. I don’t think they would “forget” the most important ingredient as that’s the largest pack of all items on menu.
I issued a refund from DD, and they were only able to refund $27, which means I had to pay $43 for only 18 small pieces of shrimps and all other sides. On their menu they have a platter that has the same foods for only $26. Therefore I told DD that it doesn’t match the value I lost. I demanded to speak with a manager and now I’m waiting for their call. Most likely they won’t budge.
Just do yourself a favor and DON’T buy from this place! There are better choices out there. I haven’t been such an angry customer for a very long time!
