Stopped by Outback to celebrate our granddaughter’s birthday with my wife on a Thursday mid-afternoon. They were not very busy so we were seated right away at a table in room with only a few couples. Good for conversation and catching up.

Ordered lunch pickup for curbside. It was a quick experience for ordering online. Got the outback burger and appetizer. Pulled into spot 3, and they walked right out. They are on the ball with the online ordering. They send email for instructions and have signs for parking.

The service was the best we’ve had in any restaurant – ever! Lea R took our order and within like 30 seconds our drinks were brought out by another individual. A third individual brought our bread and salads shortly after that. The instant we finished, our table was cleared. The entrees (prime rib and Alice Springs chicken) arrived after a reasonable amount of time. The food was delicious. It should be noted that this occurred during a busy hour. There were not many empty seats available.

Usually, we are not the biggest fans of Outback, as we have had better food for a comparable price elsewhere that suits us better. Just our preference. HOWEVER, our server was named Rocky. She was absolutely incredible. She was attentive and helpful with sincerity. She didn’t overdo to the point where a server might be construed as pushy or not authentic. You could really tell that she valued our business and wanted us to enjoy ourselves. It is so rare to find this attitude in restaurants in 2023. Not only does this speak to her character as an individual, but it also speaks volumes regarding the training and expectations of leadership within this particular location. We may very well have to rethink our preferences and return regularly if we can ensure that we are in Rocky’s section! Kudos!
