I really wasn’t impressed. I called in for the “hold my spot” service they have. We got there at 6:30 thinking it would be jam packed but it wasn’t at all for a Friday night. There were several empty tables. And as slow as they were, we really didn’t get the service we would expect. The waitress didn’t refill my husband’s tea I had asked for an extra side sauce and never got it. The food was good. The bread was fresh and the butter was soft to spread. The fries were good.

Hated the the sticky slimy germ collecting menus. Average food. Chicken cobb salad plate not much bigger than appetizer plate with a sprinkle of egg. Expected more for $15. Didn’t get 1 refill on drinks. A chicken finger was topped on top of burger instead of onion ring which made person gag and spit out!

Well, after all these years, last night ripped it and I’m done with Outback. To me, Outback HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE PREMIER PLACE FOR PRIME RIB….BAR NONE! About a month ago, I ordered “to go”, which consisted of 1-16 ounce classic prime rib RARE with 2 sides and 1 Filet, Med Well and Lobster. The steaks were cooked the way we ordered them, no complaints there, but when I opened my container up, what I was sold for a 16 ounce Prime Rib was a 7.5 ounce prime rib (YES, I weighted it. See pictures below.). I was furious to pay $33 for that. I called the restaurant, spoke to one of the managers and she did refund my money for my prime rib order. No Problem. Maybe just a new cook, doesn’t know any better. Hired to fill the spot with no experience, maybe in training. Who knows, right? Anyhow, last night it was a toss up between Texas Roadhouse and Outback. I originally picked Texas Roadhouse, but when perusing the menu on line, realized they no longer served Prime Rib…so to Outback we went. Well, to say it wasn’t an absolute disaster would be an understatement. I ordered my always go to meal, Prime Rib, rice pilaf and a Caesar salad. My wife ordered her usual Filet and Lobster and my son and his fiancée ordered a Porterhouse (medium rare) and were going to split it since it’s a huge cut of beef. Well, my prime was rare, had absolutely NO FLAVOR, as tough as shoe leather, the rice pilaf was stuck together and bland as all get out. My wife ate the lobster after dumping enough drawn butter on it to give it flavor, took one bite of the filet and gave up on it. As far as my son and his fiancée, they just cut a few bites out of it (served well done) and let it go at that. Well, after paying a $254 tab plus a cash tip and getting go boxes, I decided I was done with Outback. To waste my time to speak to a manager just wasn’t worth it. (I will take it home and make a vegetable beef and barley soup with it). Nothing will change. I have owned 14 restaurants in my 70 years of life, but never would I have allowed food like this to be served. The one thing my employees (especially servers) always had was the “over ride” option which is based on one simple fact I told them…that is “if you would not eat it, why would you serve it”????? It pains me terribly to post this especially about Outback, but maybe their time has come to an end. Once what was the absolute best in steaks is now no more than a cheap version of itself.

food is great i had the sweet potato and grill chicken with pepper shrimp, sauces was on the side which is great , I had a house side veggies was fresh and presentable.

Food was good but not great. I got the prime rib which is my favorite and it was not a very good cut. Had to cut off half of it a fat which I know is part of prime rib so not really upset about that but the meat itself was not very tender which it should be. Also, my husband order the filet which mean eat all the time and that was just okay. Salads with good Indian bread is always good. Service was pretty good.

Outstanding! They added bacon to the mac n cheese I had the chicken sandwich because I’m basic added bacon to that too so I could step it up a level. People were staring at my sandwich. It was delicious and I enjoyed it while everyone else in the restaurant wanted to be like me I had the best seat in the house. Tell them I sent you!

Everything was great until the point of sale went down. Waited at least half an hour for it to come back up could not leave held hostage by the manager. The manager gave no discounts. Probably the Last time our large party will go there. Also not the first time they had POS trouble.

My steak was cooked to perfection and delicious. Servers very attentive. Didn’t wait long until being acknowledged and thanked for choosing Outback’s which was appreciated ( as we do have a choice on where to dine and spend money).
