I haven’t eaten at an Outback in years!! It is Veterans Day and they are giving all Veterans a FULL MEAL including a salad or soup, an entree with side (I got the 6oz sirloin & baked potato) and cheesecake for dessert! The only thing you have to purchase is your drink. They thanked me for my service as soon as I arrived and immediately brought me out their signature bread loaf and warm butter. My house salad came shortly after and was delightfully chilled. The steak was perfect and dessert I took to go as I was full but will be a great dessert for later. Jamal my server was amazing and the owner Kat even stopped by to make sure everything was ok and she was delightful! The restaurant was well appointed, tastefully decorated, and had a full bar!! THIS Outback even went out of their way to honor ALL Veterans including POW/MIA! They put out an AMERICAS WHITE TABLE which if you ever read the book has significance to honor those POW/MIA who have still not come home. Everything on the table means something. It was touching tribute and good to see. According to the owner they do this EVERY YEAR! Thank you Outback and Kat for the privilege of dining and for taking such good care of the US Military and Veterans both yesterday (on the 250th Marine Corps Birthday) and today Nov 11th , Veterans Day!!! Your efforts were noticed and much appreciated!!! Until they all come home- thank you

Outback normally has good service, which it did today. The atmosphere varies from outback to outback, this one in my opinion a little nicer than some others although not the nicest one I ever been to as that still remains with the downtown Birmingham, AL location. The chili was only like warm today, but that peppery spice flavor still shines through. The ribeye was cooked perfectly on the char grill and the potato, a perfect compliment with that salty skin. Just the standard overall good experience from this restaurant chain.

Had a yummy lunch yesterday and our server Kyla was great. Best service I had in a long time. Got our free bloomin onion with our dine in rewards, and got 20 percent off for Memorial Day being a veteran! Got the garlic Parmesan chicken, shrimp and chicken pasta, mom got Alice springs chicken, and we got strawberry lemonade!

We waited about 15 minutes to be seated after joining the waitlist, which wasn’t bad. Drinks were great and the Bloomin’ Onion came out fast and was absolutely bomb.
Then we waited a full hour for our food, timed from when we got the text that our table was ready, only for the entrees and sides to come out cold. Not even warm. Cold. They were running a Veterans Day special and clearly didn’t have enough staff for the crowd that came in.
The server and manager were both great. They offered to remake our meals right away and got them out hot and fresh the second time. The remade entrees tasted great and they also gave a generous discount, handling everything with kindness and professionalism even while dealing with a lot of frustrated guests.
My praise goes to the team working that tonight. My disappointment is with corporate for not preparing their locations for such a big promotion. The staff did their best and deserved way more support.

Went to Outback Steakhouse for my birthday and had the BEST experience thanks to our server Jenn. When I tell you she was top-tier, I mean that. Super attentive, warm, funny, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. She really made me feel celebrated on my birthday, not just like another table.
Food was hitting, but Jenn is truly what made the night special. If you’re coming here, ASK FOR JENN. She’s a gem and deserves all the praise and good tips ✨

We came with a large group and the experience was a bit chaotic. Our food didn’t come out at the same time, which made it difficult for everyone to enjoy their meal together. There was also some confusion with the check at the end. I think they could improve by having more than one server assigned to large parties to help things run more smoothly. We were there for 3 hours food was just OKAY at best.
