My friend got gift certificates for Christmas. Neither of us eat at chain restaurants. We decided to try the Aussie 3-course meal. 6 oz steak, baked potato and cheesecake for $14.99 (I think). There are 3 choices. Three different price points. Also different day, different special. We didn’t expect much. I’m glad we weren’t disappointed. Steak was chewy. I heard the French Onion soup was good. The salad was ok. Cheesecake pretty good. I don’t plan to return. But to each their own! That’s what makes the world go around.

The hostess seated us quickly and the server took our drink order and brought us bread with butter but service went downhill after that. We went through four loaves of bread with our party of 7 and hardly ever saw our server. The server kindly shared a couple pieces of cheesecake with us who didn’t order one. The kicker to this awful experience is the restaurant wasn’t half full when we arrived from church and still didn’t increase much after our 90+ minute visit. I don’t plan to return any time soon.

We dined here on New Year’s Day. From the time that we entered the restaurant, we were immediately greeted and seated. Our waiter, Thomas, was spectacular, you could tell that he was a veteran, and he enjoyed his job. He was able to recommend a delicious appetizer from the menu, knowledgeable of the entrees, and he was phenomenal from the time that we arrived, until leaving. He spent a lot of time chatting with us, discussing commonalities, and we all really connected with him with lots of laughter. The food was scrumptious with good portion sizes, and everything was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was quiet and calm. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We were seeking a closer location; however, came to realize that the Atlantic Blvd location is closed, so we decided to dine here, although it was a great stretch from home, we were not disappointed.

My long-awaited Sunday dinner commenced with an intriguing green beverage. However, my meal took an unexpected turn. I had anticipated a medium-well steak, a preparation I have consistently enjoyed at the Outback Steakhouse near my residence. Instead, I opted for the establishment on Atlantic Boulevard.
After selecting my steak and preferences, I was advised to use the Outback seasoning. Despite my better judgment, I accepted. Medium-well is my preferred steak preparation. Unfortunately, based on the provided photographs, I was served a rare steak. Politely inquiring about the possibility of additional cooking time, I expected a positive response. However, my request was met with indifference. The steak returned to the plate with the same level of doneness, as if it had been reheated in a microwave. The only items that remained hot were the plate and the rice.
I am deeply disappointed with the outcome of my Sunday dinner. This particular Outback Steakhouse on Atlantic Boulevard has lost a valuable customer. I am uncertain whether I can ever trust any Outback Steakhouse for any food.

I did take away after a long rough day .. and let me tell you .. I’ve never had a to go steak this phenomenal.. it was tender .. juicy .. melted like butter .. The broccoli was crisp and large .. The take away young man (can’t recall his name) was kind and sweet and very respectful .. Thank you so much Outback for turning a stressful day into a relaxing and enjoyable evening .. Hats off to the chef and take away young man!!

Edit May 15, 2024 (Thursday): I called ahead to ask if they had prime rib and they said as long as we got there before 7pm, they should have some. My husband loves prime rib so we specifically went there for his birthday. When we ordered the prime rib, the server said that they only have it on Fridays and Saturdays. Needless to say, we were disappointed. The rest of our dinner was great as always. I think they added a different sauce to the Alice Springs chicken, which I didn’t really enjoy like I did with the original recipe.

I got the two filets with cheese, mushrooms, and the sweet potatoes in the blooming mushroom spears. My husband had an ribeye, and my daughter enjoyed her steak too….
Out of all of the steakhouse chains, Outback is my favorite! Our server Darius was so delighted and attentive. The blooming onion is the best at Outback. The mashed potatoes were bland and that was my only disappointment. The Alice Springs chicken is delicious as always!

We came in with a party of 8 for my birthday and it was overall pretty good. The cook actually knew how to make a medium rare steak so thank you. BUT, I got the three course meal alone with 3 other of my party and we was all supposed to get cheesecake with our meals. By the time we was done with our entrees dessert was just not in the cards…. Now someone else grabbed the dessert, I was given ice cream for it being my birthday but apparently with them giving me the ice cream I didn’t get my cheesecake. I would have rather had the cheesecake. Kind of sucks.

Had Jess as a server for the night, we were in a group and almost every single steak we had tonight was perfect except for one, however our server immediately got it fixed. Was a very busy night but given how good our Delmontico steaks were I would wait all over again. Great food great service will be back! We always love coming here either way

We had an amazing time at this outback. The service was on par with the finest of establishments. Melissa was on top of everything and we wanted for nothing. I’d like to see them take a little more pride in the cuts of meat that are served. Lots of grisel and cooked beyond well. Server wanted to take it back but I ate the majority of it nonetheless. (I’ve watched waiting) Was comped a very well prepared dessert so can’t complain about that. Thank you for the great service.

We haven’t been to an Outback Steakhouse in years. So we were pleasantly surprised with the good experience we had. I was very happy with the dedicated gluten free menu and all the options. Our server, Brooke, was fabulous. I had the ahi tuna and it was very good. My husband had the steak and grilled shrimp, which was a little peppery for him but it ate it all. Overall, it was a very good experience and we will definitely be returning again soon.
