The service was horrible and the drive thru worker did not do her job and repeat my order and charged me wrong and then at the second window they correct my order and proceed to change me the correct amount and then refund me in cash and not out it back on to my card. Also the food was cold and now they up charge for any beverage. I got to two combos and they charged me $1.00 up charge for orange juice and $0.60 up charge for coffee.
This is getting out of hand and the service does not match the prices.

Why can’t I get some sauce of my order of 21 dollars I wanted a buffalo sauce and ranch. Only not ketchup. Just one buffalo sauce and one ranch. I’m supposed to pay .35 cents. Why? Is this the only location where they charge for sauce? The lady was very rude I wasn’t going to pay .35 cents more. Are the sauce packages coming from their paycheck? Or what’s going on?

If I could give this place a no star I would trust me, I got there around 4:00 pm today October 23,2025 to get my food, I understand they had a rush hour they took around 30 mins to give me my food, I got out of the property my car was stolen. Of course police didn’t do anything because South Gate police is the worst. I asked to speak with a manager and asked if we could see the footage. He didn’t let us check anything because the police was not there. When I was about to leave the manager had the nerve to laugh it off and say that “Why people always ask me the questions”. Please if you can demote his positions because as a manager in charge he was yelling at his crew and telling them stuff. He didn’t spoke any English and only Spanish. He was super rude to his workers and environment.

My breakfast order that I had placed through their app was canceled without any heads up because I wasn’t there at 10:30AM promptly. I tried calling the restaurant 3 times prior to let them know I had gone to the wrong location and was running a little bit late and they never picked up. When I got there and explained what happened, they did not apologize for canceling my order and not having my food anymore, they did not answered my questions and just kept talking over me saying “you weren’t here at 10:30 breakfast ended…” mind you, this was the first time ever taking our daughter to the McDonald’s playground, because of this experience we will be never stepping foot in this location and possibly not any other ones. Go to Chic-fill- a people, they’re premium with their food and service and had never been disappointing.

Been coming here for two years now for daily coffee on the regular and lately they’ve either gotten my coffee customization wrong (amount of sugar/creamer) or my entire order wrong. But this review has nothing to do with that—because I get it.. stuff happens.

For over two years using strictly mobile order and picking up at the drive through (with sporadic visits at other locations) I have never had an issue with giving them my code at the menu speaker.

HOWEVER, on 05/17/2025 at 6:40am, I pulled up to the speaker and told the worker I had a code, as usual. She snarks back that the drive-thru codes weren’t working. Having already payed for my order, I pulled up to the first window and asked her how was it not working when I had been charged already. For no particular reason this employee was being difficult and told me that my mobile order was not a code. That it was simply a mobile order.

To anyone that’s used that service, the app prompts you to provide the “voice code” which is something I’ve always done and never had an issue with until running into this employee I hadn’t seen before. When I showed her my phone she inputted the code and my name was there. There was absolutely no reason for her to be that difficult and I know she knew what I meant by “I have a code” when her coworkers always give me excellent customer service.

On a side note, almost all the other employees have always been kind and excellent at the drive thru, it’s just a bummer that the lady with glasses perhaps needs a bit more training, and if she happens to be a manager then I feel sorry for them.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at your location due to the unprofessional behavior of a manager named Rafael. Throughout our interaction, he spoke to me in a condescending tone, as if I didn’t understand what was going on. It felt very disrespectful and unnecessary. As a customer, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism, especially by someone in a managerial role.

I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed appropriately so that other customers don’t have to go through a similar experience.
