I visited this location today. I sat at the bar. The bartender was Ms. Linda, she was an absolute gem. The service was excellent. The food was great. My only minor concern was the Boomtastic margaritas flight. I didn’t care for it but otherwise..I was extremely pleased..

It was a busy Friday night but I was able to sit at the bar immediately. The service was excellent, my food was taking some time to come out but my server was frequently checking for it and checking in with me. Once it came my coconut shrimp were crispy on the outside, tender, and flavorful. My salad was fresh and well proportioned. Drinks were really sweet but some people like that. Overall great experience, this location does a great job of taking care of you.

This was my first experience with Outback in almost 8 years! The fact that I live close to the MATTHEWS, NC Location and refused to give it another shot until I came to this GASTONIA location, boy am I so glad I did! Let’s just start with Cheyenne the host! What an amazing spirit and beautiful young lady! She greeted us with opening the door and a gentle, warming smile! Then next we were blessed with LINDA! Who made the BEST drinks and the most amazing personality! To top it off we got to meet Pa Pa! Keep him in the front! We enjoyed his warm welcome and always making sure throughout our meal we were taken care of! The food was excellent so kudos to the kitchen! I’m a stickler when dining out and this was the first experience in a very long time where I was impressed from start to finish! I’ve also been in fine dining for over 15 years and knew all the things to check off the list! And they were definitely all checked! If you want great food, great service and a great atmosphere! Make the drive! It’s worth it!

All the food was good that we ordered. But it takes entirety too long to get anything. Drinks, refills, salads…..I see why they are never crowded anymore. We ordered the 3 course meal & never got the desserts with it. After waiting forever for it. It’s just not worth the aggravation where there are other good steak houses out there.

Had a little wait, hostess said it would be about 40-45 minutes and they were right on. After seating waitress was quick to get our order, salad and appetizer came out fairly quick, got steaks and mine was way over cooked, showed waitress and she immediately got the manager, manager had another steak prepared and it was cooked perfectly. Service and staff was good and everything turned out good. Definitely good place to go.

The expectation of this restaurant was not the experience we received. First off the manager on duty tonight was rude and distasteful. He continued to ask other party’s over and over if they were good but never turned his head to ask our table. We had reservation at 830 and waiting to eat until 930. Service was pretty basic. I was there around 12:30 for a lunch meeting. Restaurant was not very busy, maybe 10 people in the entire Restaurant. Server either was new or just didn’t care about her tables. We stayed approximately 40 minutes after I paid and she never checked for refills while we were still there. Went there last night for my grandma’s birthday, most of the food was completely wrong, I ordered a “fully loaded potato” and a salad as my side and was given a plain potato and nothing on my salad was correct and the lettuce was warm and the dressing was sour. I’m not the type to complain but once I realized my grandma’s order and 3 others orders were wrong, I knew I had to. It was a party of 6, (5 adults and 1 baby) and more than half of the orders were wrong, the worst order they messed up was the baby’s. We ended up having to pick from everyone’s plate to find foods that she could eat, since they forgot to bring her food out with the rest, by the time they brought her food we had to-go plates and had already paid out!! Took them 45 minutes to bring out a kids chicken tender and kid macaroni AFTER they had already brought everyone else’s food. It gets worse, the manager stops at the table to ask whats wrong, so I tell her and only 2 of the issues were fixed. We had to pay full price for a dinner barely any of us ate, I will pay any amount that is required but if your going to charge $20+ for almost EVERYTHING, then the standards of your food should be worth that!!
